Nothing Here
The author is very good at enticing you, in fact that's precisely what's so annoying about this book. All he *does* is entice you - you spend the entire book waiting to hear the big reveal - what's he about to tell you that will help you with your hip arthritis - only to come to the end never having heard zero content, just a lot of enticing. The early chapters, with some nice descriptions of the anatomy and functions of the hip joint, are helpful, but nothing you can't find in any other anatomy or arthritis book or website. No new content here, not even any *old* content. Just a lot of pretty talk - hate to be cynical but maybe this book is just advertising for his PT business. :-(

Clarifies concepts and give practical steps
A lot of the same concept are covered in his other books. This repetition is good for people with thick heads like mine. Great book for understanding necessary PT concepts and laying out practical steps for recovery. I find the primary road blocks that slow down my recovery is my inconsistency in following his advice and my impatience in moving ahead too quickly. Excellent book that offers practical steps for recovery.

So informative!
Because I must decide whether to go ahead with a hip replacement, I read this book. It's clearly written yet dense with encouraging information. The author is an expert in the subject, but writes with a human touch. He explains tons of good exercises with links to videos to see them done. Whether or not I have surgery, I'll have a stronger body.

Did not work for me
I was diagnosed with hip arthritis last December. I purchased this book and followed the programme daily for six months - it has not made any difference to my hip arthritis unfortunately.
