Do you think these will blow over in the wind? Hosting an outdoor party in early fall.

We got these for an outdoor barbecue and didn't have any problem. I think the wind goes through them because they are mesh.

Is the mesh small enough to keep out tiny fruit flies?

yes it is woven tight enough to keep out fruit flies. I do use it at home sometimes for that reason.

Can ants get in through the bottom?

The answer is 'most likely' unless you somehow seal the bottom edge of the screen so that crawling insects are kept out.
