Had slight reservations from other reviews about them not being robust, but they seem very well made and were comfortable as soon as I put them on. They go well with jeans and chinos, decent casual boot and very good value.

Love these boots. Dress them up with chinos for work or down with jeans at the weekend for with the kids. Uppers take all manner of abuse and clean up really well.They haven’t lasted as long as expected, the interior totally disintegrating after 18 months but I’m buying another pair because they’re so comfortable and I pretty much live in them unless the situation calls for trainers, flip flops or wellies.So all in all a great boot, be nice if they lasted longer but a great all rounder.

These look good, and they are comfortable.Unfortunately they don't last, or at least the soles don't.Bought in Nov 2023 and by end of March 2024 I've had to replace them as the soles have worn through already! The soles are very soft rubber so on a hard surface they wear down fast. I've only worn them a couple of days a week for a few miles a day.Very disappointing.Last pair of Hush Puppies I'll ever buy.Replaced with Sorel Madson boots which I should've just bought in the first place.You get what you pay for!

Got these on a reduced price, but Amazon prices fluctuate so much it's hard to know whether is good or not, but boots are good they're comfortable out the box, good sizing i'm 9 of wide fitting and they fit well in the actual size. They look well made and make me look like a geography teacher so my girlfriend says?, buh! so good for role playing then too.Yes I would recommend these smart enough for work and casual enough for the pub, until they fall apart then i will update my review to say they're not so good, but so far so good.

I bought and reviewed these in January 2021 on sale about £30, at the time my review said they looked cheap.I take it all back they have been great boots, never let in water, comfortable and take a polish nicely.Since they started wearing at the heels I bought another pair in October 2023 at £55. Well worth the money compared to many others.Nice fit, wider than some and don't squish your toes thanks to the more rounded style. UK size 10.

I bought these boots 2 years ago. I wore them as my everyday shoes over the last 2 winters. I have just started wearing them again for this winter.Today has been a day of very heavy rain. My left foot has been wet. On inspection I see that the soft sole has split.On further inspection from the inside, under the insole, I see that the sole is ridged, and the ridges appear to be filled with cardboard or similar. Between those ridges the soles are really thin, and it appears to be in one of those places that the split appeared.The leather uppers clearly have more years in them. It is a shame that the soles do not.

I always take a UK 11 but needed to return because I needed a 12. They are lightweight and ready to wear from the box with decent cushioning. The toe cap and heel are polished, rest of shoe is dull nubuck, but if you want you can get a good overall shine with regular shoe polish. It remains to be seen how hard-wearing they are. Would recommend.
