I used these to protect my first edition Harry Potter collection and my childhood Shel Silverstein books, and now it looks like I have a little library on my bookshelf! I had to watch a video on how to use the dust jacket covers, but thanks to my novice origami experience, they were very easy to install.

Stop the internet. I just found the perfect thing. You ever find a thing and then wonder how it's been this long without you having it in your life? This is that thing. You ever come across a product that does one thing, and does that one thing perfectly? This is that thing. Easy to use. Just lay it on a table and put the dust jacket inside it, then put it around your book, just like the instructions say. Looks like it will be very durable. I have a bunch of out-of-print books and I wanted to keep the dust jackets from getting torn up and having a lot of shelf wear. This is perfect for that application. Just like the ones your library has on their books. Thickness is perfect. They are precut to standard size.

After almost 30 years in library work, I can assure you that Brodart makes a very good product. Everything arrived well packaged and the vendor is doing an exemplary job.

I prefer Demco protective covers but you can't get them in this small of quantity. The seller is really good and the covers work just fine. This is my 2nd order from this seller

I’m a huge reader but always want to keep my books covered and protected. My mum worked as a librarian when I was growing up and would have to wrap books in protection covers like this. I’ve tried other brands and styles and this comes closest to what libraries use. I love the covers but they’re a bit difficult to correctly put on and I struggled to get it to lay completely flush and straight

These are great! They are very easy to put onto your book jackets and the plastic is nice and sturdy. I went through my shelves and found every book I could use this on - mostly old books with fragile dust jackets I wanted to preserve. It feels good to know the jackets won’t deteriorate further. I like how I can put these on without taping anything to the book or the jacket. I had one jacket that was exactly 10” high and I jammed it into the 10” dust cover, but I don’t advise doing this. Measure your books and get covers that are at least a little higher than the book.

The plastic is clear, sturdy, and has a nice archival feel—thicker than basic book covers but still flexible enough to work with. The fold-on design is convenient because you don’t need tape or adhesive; you simply fold the flaps around the dust jacket and it stays securely in place. Once applied, the cover looks clean and professional, similar to what you see on library books. The 10" x 21" size worked well for standard hardcover jackets. Installation took a little patience the first time to line everything up neatly, but after doing one or two it became quick and easy. The material also seems durable enough to protect against shelf wear, fingerprints, and light moisture. Overall, these are a great option if you want to preserve dust jackets on collectible or frequently handled books. I would definitely purchase them again for the rest of my library.
