I needed a flashlight for taking my dog outside at night, as well as possible emergency purposes, but I needed it to be bright enough to see a black and brown shepherd in big backyard with no lights and small enough to fit in my coat pocket. This flashlight does all of this and then some. The telescoping head allows me to focus in on a very specific target with maximum brightness, as the scope of light gets wider the light spreads but does not dim. This is the brightest flashlight I’ve ever seen. It comes with two ‘emergency’ signals too. Cool features unless you press them by accident and blind yourself for a second. Have yet to test the head of the flashlight for breaking through a windshield or fighting off an attacker and hope to keep it that way but it’s a nice added feature to have!

These flashlights are durable & are a nice size. They are really bright. Love this lite, small and fits the hand nicely. I make deliveries at night I can read the house numbers from across the street with this.I would definitely purchase the same ones again or recommend for a friend.
