It says: application: dry/adhesive. can i use this as a racing stripes? worried about the expose edge lifting.

I wouldn't buy this vinyl from here but go straight to Vivid. The vinyl I received from amazon was not vivid brand. Yes it had the vivid branded tube and stickers but the vinyl was not. I ordered directly from vivid and received a very high quality vinyl that I wouldn't hesitate to utilize as a racing strip. The stuff I got from amazon I wouldn't use to wrap a gift in. I doubt it would last a few days on anything.

Does the adhesive require heat when you apply? No experience with vinyl wrapping but this seems more like a decal

I didnt use heat but you can for tight corners . It stretches better with heat. I used this for the corner window after back doors. I did a test fit for sharkfin antenna and used a blow dryer

How much do I need for my jeep? It does not look like much comes in it.. almost like you can get half a door done but I’m unsure.

There are many different size options , if you plan on doing a full size wrap for a jeep you will need a roll of 5x65 ft - 5x75 ft minimum. If you are a beginner at wrapping get more as mistakes can be made where you will need to start a whole new section or panel over
