WP567 LUX Universal Wallplate - Fits Thermostats TX500U, TX1500U, TX9100U, TX9600TS, TX100E

Fits perfectly for my LUX TX9600TSa thermostat and saved me having to repaint the wall around where the larger thermostat used to be. Plus it give the unit a more substantial and finished appearance. LUX probably should have included this WITH the thermostat, but considering the value price of the TX9600TSa I will not ding them for that. By the way, I really like this unit and I especially like the ability to set the Swing value, which many other units do not allow you to do. If you don't know what that means look it up because its a great feature.

Come on people, it's only $8.17 that includes shipping and I didn't have to pay any tax, so that was it. Someone had to take it of the shelf, pack it, pay for the carton, shipping and handling cost. I would think they are allowed to make a little profit! Notwithstanding, it's a breeze to install and fits the t-stat perfectly covering the holes from the old, much larger t-stat. I'm sure it is not included with the t-stat because it is most often not needed, especially in new construction or remodeling. Great product and inexpensive... Fast shipping too!

Fantastic addition to my already good looking t-stats. My house used to have all kinds of wallpaper and whatnot. Low and behold underneath my old t-stat there was some wallpaper that was not removed when the house was painted. This trim fits perfectly around my Lux thermostats and covers up the ugliness underneath. Really make the install look clean and fresh. Looks even better with the trim then they do without even on a wall that doesn't need to hide anything lurking underneath.

This wall plate was just what we needed to cover a replacement thermostat.

3 stars for not being included and not being available no where else. This should have been included with the Lux TX9600TS Thermostat package, my older (15-20 year old Luc thermostat) etched or imprinted an outline into the paint/drywall and the TX9600TS unit is a bit smaller than the other one leaving an outline exposed, so until I repair and repaint the hallway I needed this to cover the old outline of the removed thermostat. In my case the WP567 fit was very good 5 starts, no play once installed and was easy to install, by removing only the screws to remove the thermostat not the connected wires and slide the thermostat through the opening of the plate, took no more than a couple of minutes to complete.

I bought this as a backing to the RING alarm panel, because I needed to cover the area where my older hardwired panel had been. This offers a nice solution without painting. The color is almost an exact match to the Ring alarm panel, but the finish of this backing plate is matte whereas the Ring panel is gloss. Overall it’s close enough that I like the look and will use it. (Ring doesn’t make a backing plate).
