First impression...not impressed
So having been a remodeler for eons and owning several pneumatic powered nail and staple guns, thought I would try the Freeman 7/16' crown stapler especially for its price of $119 via Amazon and after reading several positive reviews. Bought the gun and searched for staples, some companies products are better in quality than others, so I opted for Mprove brand 1-1/2" leg staples. I received them the same day as the staple gun. I was somewhat taken back by the packaging of the staples and really could not believe my eyes. The 1000 plus staples were simply WRAPPED in brown paper, like from a brown paper bag. I just hope that this is not a reflection of the quality of the staples. If nothing else it is a very bad marketing choice especially when you want to attract customers. Seriously this is the first time in my life I have ever purchased nails or staples for nail guns that have NOT come in a rugged box. If I open this paper wrap to grab a sleeve of staples and then put the opened package in my tool box by the end of the day I'll be playing "pick up sticks". with hundreds of broken staples everywhere and totally useless and have to throw them out. Now, I have to do what the company that sells these should have done. I have to find a box or container to keep them in. Here's an idea, charge an extra two or three cents for the staples and put them in a quality box. The jury is still out on the staples. They do look good, but time will tell if the bonding (glue) of the sleeves holds up or they start falling apart which seems to be the problem with lesser quality staples and nails. I'll give a later update on function and stability of use. For right now, I'm searching for a container or box to put the staples in. Time wasted when I could be working.

Good 16-gauge staples
I was concerned when I red the reviews that these staples came wrapped in paper (no box). I took a chance and ordered the 3/4" staples. It arrived in a plastic box and the staples were intact. I gave them a try and they worked just fine. I placed another order for the 5/8" staples. Everything worked out.
