Q: im 4'11 and 200lbs. Would a 2X fit or would 3X be better?

I am 5' and weight 185 I was buying a 2xl which fit fine, but started buying an xl as I wanted it tighter and the smaller size feels better for me. Also both sizes came just to the bottom of my stomach, which was perfect especially when wearing pants.

Q: What does the plus after the size letter mean?

Naturally, it means it is bigger. Sizing is getting more weird everyday. This Torsette is quite large (2x) but it does not cover your bust, which will give you a more hour-glass figure. You have to try several brands to see what they are actually selling. Wait for a rainy day, go to a big department store and try on all the torsettes. You'll find one that is best for your figure. Your undergarments must fit. If the don't, you are miserable.

Q: what is the length from center of strap to beginning of under breast curve?

I am 5'2" and it comes down to the middle of my hips maybe even a little lower

Q: I've had shape wear like this before and I was constantly pulling my pants down. If the fabric such that clothes slide off?

I have not had that experience with these. I love this product because it stays in place. My clothes glide over it and actually fit better because of the tummy support.
