Very good antenna for smart birdfeeder
My old antenna was fairly inefficient and with age it was very difficult to connect โLiveโ to my smart birdfeeder. The feeder only works on 2.4G which is slower than 5G by design. After much research, I purchased and installed this new antenna today and found that it allows me to connect โLiveโ much more easily to watch the birds in my backyard feed up close. In addition, am getting download speeds I never dreamed of with the old antenna (even when it was new), so based on this short experience, I highly recommend this antenna.

Great 2.4ghz antennas!
I've ran these antennas for a couple hacking, raspberry pi, mesh and Arduino projects now and they're great. Pricing is awesome, build quality is better than others in this price range and they really do aid in extending reach/range of your signal.

Fixed connection issues with a distant WiFi cam...
I have WiFi cameras around the house, and they work really well for the most part. The ones I have trouble with are the ones furthest away from the router, naturally. They were just far enough away to cause problems like a delay in the feed showing up or the feed freezing altogether. It took all of five seconds to replace the stock antenna, and all the problems were solved instantly. I no longer have feed delays, signal loss, or frozen feeds. I canโt give you a number or measurements on well it improved my WiFi cams, what I can tell you is that they all work all the time now with no issues. Even the cam that is furthest away works without a hiccup. Highly recommended if you are trouble shooting connection issues with devices that normally work well, this is a very inexpensive option to explore. It saved me from having to buy a mesh router, extender, or repeater.

good for wifi, terrible for bluetooth
Good for wifi, big improvement but it slaughtered the bluetooth performance, much worse on esp32-c3 than the onboard ceramic antenna. It did occasionally get a BLE packet but the antenna is extremely directional and requires direct line of sight and Iโm talking within 10 ft distance from transmitter.

Iโm impressed!
I bought a cheap WiFi extender that was struggling so I had an idea to mod it with higher gain antennas with no big expectations. I had to cut the wires and solder to the pcb and even with that the difference was night and day!! I thought it would be a marginal increase if any. Iโll definitely be using these to mod more 2.4 ghz projects for sure

They exist for a reason!
Scenario: Desktop PC. Integrated WiFi on motherboard. Antenna lost. Access point directly overhead. Uplink 1GB. Before antenna: Connecting with one or two bars. Speed test shows 200 Mbps. Not bad. Maybe shouldn't even bother with antenna. But it's only $9... After antenna: Connecting with 4 bars all the time. Speed test coming in just shy of 400 Mbps. $9 well spent.

Included Wires Do not work with M.2 Wifi Cards
Man do I LOVE these Antenna!!!! Seriously these are 8" long and preform just as well as a set of antenna I had that were 12" long. These were half the price of the big ones $9 for 2 vs $20 for 3, I only needed 2, and man am I glad I gave them a shot... That being said I am SUPER disappointed! I read the reviews that they switched suppliers and increased compatibility, but they STILL ship with the larger connector and will not connect to any M.2 wifi cards. Maybe if you were working on a router or something with the big connectors this would be useful, but for most people with cables are useless. The problem with this is that if you are buying the antenna thinking you are also getting cables that will work, then you will not additionally buy cables which will unnecessarily drag out your project completion date. Fortunately even though one of my wires was mangled, it still worked! Lucky me. IMHO it is better to ship with no wires if the alternative is to ship with the wrong wires At least make sure people are clear that they will not be compatible with standard wi-fi cards.
