I really love this bag as it holds all my lightweight fly fishing gear and it's very well made. The cheap price is a bonus too... Check out the pictures in this review for an idea of size and pouch / zip placement as there a few bag design options available on the Amazon listing. This one suits my needs perfectly and it holds all my essential flies, line, sunglasses, flotant, indicator putty, spare line, swiss army knife and minimal survival kit. There is also room on the side for a water bottle. My small hand net hangs from the bag at a nice angle and is fixed by a magnetic net clip (available sepatately) fixed one of the strong plastic loops so this really is part of a comprehensive 'grab and go' river fly fishing kit. I have no experience of the other bag designs offered here but I would assume they are all made to the same high standard so I'd have no problems recommending - just pick a style which works for you.

Bag design is alright and the quality seems reasonable. Quite annoyed that the bag i received has a gold strap and gold material on it as it looks a bit stupid. I ordered the green colour.( No gold in the pic)

Do not buy this product as it is not as shown in the picture strap is a ridiculous gold colour not green as shown ..

A lot of thought has gone into the design of this bag. I am impressed with quality and versatility of it. A nice bit of kit. Comfortable and lots of compartments. Excellent VFM. Great zips too

The strap is sewed on backwards

I have gone through 7 sling bags trying to find one that works. THIS is it! I only had to alter a couple of things on this bag to make it work. It's smallish, it's strong, it has lots of pockets of a very useful size. There's room inside a velcro/zipper pouch for a small 9mm; there is room for a knife in the side zipper pocket, and I was able to install a neck knife on the strap near the bag with just two Chicago screws. There are a couple of graphic pieces that are a little weird, but they're not that bad. The strap, all the way extended, is the perfect length for me.

Overall I am happy with the product. BUT the front main zipper pouch is really small. Not even deep enough to put in keys. I would like some more small but deep pouches from the front access. To stash away keys and easy access items.

The bag I received is well-designed, with multiple compartments and inner pockets. It’s well-crafted, from durably dense nylon, with strong plastic zippers and excellent stitch work. I read a few reviews expressing disappointment with zipper failure, but chose the black sling bag with a flap (rather than exposed zipper) over the lower front compartment, which was my design preference. Every zipper on my bag works perfectly. I am, for those reasons and more, really pleased with my choice. First, the bag is ergonomically perfect for my needs, and can be worn in several ways, easily enabling me to switch from one to another with ease, at my discretion. I wear the strap on my right shoulder and sling the middle of the bag beneath my left arm, sliding it forward when I need something from it; for example, I keep my Sonim cell in the upper zippered pocket. This bag is also discrete, with a minimal profile, and can easily be worn beneath my windbreaker. It’s light and comfortable; I know it’s there, but I don’t have to worry about it or fuss with it. It’s a delight. Precisely what I wanted.
