Aluminium Alloy Office Worker ID Badge Holder with Detachable Stripe Lanyard/Strap (Silver-1pc)

Seems very sturdy. Those plastic ID holders were constantly breaking where it was attached to the lanyard. I work for a delivery company so my ID badge and lanyard take a lot of abuse. I've only used it a few days, but I don't see there being a problem with this one breaking. Its lightweight and fit my ID perfectly with both plastic inserts. At first I thought the plastic inserts were very opaque, until I realized there's a thin film on them to keep them from being scratched. Very easily removed. No problem swiping for card entry either. Very good value.

At my job, out ID Badge is also our key to open everything! But our badges are prone to flex and break in a clear vinyl sleeve and I wanted something sturdy to keep it from flexing. I found this badge holder and bought it. I was very impressed with it! It’s sleek and modern looking but doesn’t block much of the badge. More importantly, it doesn’t block rfid like some which is what my badge relies on to open doors. While the lanyard works perfectly, I have mine hanging on a belt reel for added security and ease of use. My boss even asked me where I got it from because he liked it so much. He ended up buying one for everyone on my team. I do wish it came with a second clear sleeve to protect both sides of the badge but it still works just fine with one.

This is a great id holder, it’s sturdy and a great alternative for the plastic/vinyl card holders your normally issued with work badges. But it’s not RFID blocking. For me that’s a good thing because my ID badge is also an access card so the reader needs to be able to read the chip through what ever is holding my ID. If your looking for actual RFID blocking holders, this isn’t what you want.

Good but arrived with a big scratch and gouge through the clear plastic. Didn't use it as a result. It's sitting on my shelf. Does fit a badge very well though and would provide a sturdy, damage resistant metal edge.

I got tired of buying plastic ID holders that don’t last to long. I find these metals badges to be better. He used the last one for 2 years. Got this one which is a little different but was easy to place the ID into. Will give a later update once he wears it.

your badge is only held in by two sides. if you have the slightest curve to your badge, it will fall out. why would you design it this way? i get not having support on the top, but both sides and the bottom should have support. I bought this because the loop that holds my badge broke and it is a pain dealing with security where i work. It could take a year to get all my badge access permissions restored. It is light weight and depending on how you where it, your face will always be forward facing. Or for lunch, backwards facing.

Looks great, works as advertised, is a lot more durable than the plastic ones I keep breaking.
