I have had a problem with cardinals banging against my windows for some time. I got these thinking I would waste my money, but to my surprise, they really work! No more angry birds flying into my window.

Birds were flying and pecking my window. I hung 6 of these in front of the window and the birds stopped hitting and pecking.

My porch is assaulted by little sparrows cloaca’s this time of year, every year. I didn’t necessarily want to use spikes cause they’re ugly. The clear ones are a bit pricey. And the sparrows take to the space between the porch and the gap of the wall where it protrudes out so there’s maybe 4” or so of space there for them to just chill under. So anything like that would have to go there which makes it tricky. Anyway. These have worked wonders so far. I didn’t have high hopes but these came in clutch. 🐦 They don’t like em. Birds stay tf away from my porch now even if it’s not windy. No more spraying doo doo off my porch every day 🥲 🌀 It’s a fun design like an icicle, maybe a little Christmas-y. About a foot long. No more than an inch in diameter. Not super obnoxious. // my husband said he’d rather deal with bird 💩 than have the house look trashy or ghetto and he hasn’t complained so they look just fine! 🪢 They come already on a stretchy string/rubber band which is convenient so no assembly there but it would be nice to have the ability to tie them to something without having to actually cut that and retie or use another string to wrap around it. Not a huge issue though. ✨ Super reflective, like I said the birds don’t f with it. 💪 it comes with 12 plastic rods, which are semi durable, wont break on their own but they could take damage with enough pressure. More worried about the elastic that comes with it breaking than anything else! 💰 it’s about $1 a piece for a 12 ct pack which is a decent price. Though I say they’re worth more around the 50c-75c range per unit lol Overall I’m happy because the sparrows are leaving my house alone… for now 👀

Hung these all in front patio and it doesn’t bother the birds one bit. They just looked at them inquisitively when they first went up and then proceeded to build a nest on the wind chimes right next to them. I truly wanted these to work but they didn’t. At least not for us.

The reflective rods are nicely made and easy to install. They look pretty dangling from our blueberry bush. However, they did not deter the birds. The birds were not threatened at all my the sparkly rods. If you are looking for something pretty to decorate your blueberry bushes with, these are a great buy. But, if you are looking to deter birds, this will not work.

These seem to be working to keep the woodpeckers out of our attic!! We’ve tried everything, but so far this is doing the job!!

We have had a couple aggressive robins flogging our windows for a month now. Tried iridescent window stickers. Nope. Tried the sound and light machine. Nope. Finally tried these “scare rods” and voila, success! Got these, some Kevlar kite string, some hooks, and no more problem. The robins are still here, still nesting, it now leave our windows alone. Success!

Almost every morning while eating my breakfast I hear a knocking at my window. Its a bird flying into the window over and over and staring in, just watching being a creep. Put these up to scare it away and hopefully detract it from saying good morning while giving itself brain damage. Either this bird is just too far gone or they dont work, it didnt care about them at all. They would be cute icicles to put out in the winter for holiday decorations.

Not effective at keeping pigeons away.

unexpectedly very effective. Last year at this time all the cherries were eaten . Very easy to apply.
