Invasion: A Post-Apocalyptic Survival Novel (Sympatico Syndrome) Paperback – June 12, 2018

Most pandemic books or series tend to follow the same path. Awful towards worse. The virus is predictably terrible. What I found interesting was the survival skills employed and the effort to preserve as much basic knowledge to have a future. Most stories in this genre always end in a dystopian environment. This one didn't and is worth reading. Great character development. I'm from NE WI and am familiar with all the towns and cities mentioned.

Pretty good! I enjoyed the characters and I did like the ending but it needed a little more drama.. was slow going in the middle!

I liked this book better than the first two. It's well written and has a good story of what happens to the world after the end of the world. It gives new meaning to the end of an era and what could happen to humans as a result of losing most of the world and why we, as a whole must come together to continue the human race as a whole.

What a joy to read this series, nothing far fetched, all the storylines certainly could happen at anytime! The story flowed fabulously and was just a joy to read, sad tho some of it was.

I enjoy apocalyptic books and seeing the world the authors create. Apocalyptic books tend to involve some variation of a zombie, but I was pleasantly surprised with this series. Great and likable characters in believable situations made this an enjoyable series that I would recommend.

I liked the realistic chatacters and the detailed description of their struggles. I did find the constant summary of every meal and the origin of the food served tedious. The final book was in need of a proofreader and I believe a good editor would have suggested combining all 3 books into one as there was much repetition especially of scavenging expeditions and debates between characters. Mildly engaging like a B movie.

Best editing of the series. Overall the storyline was very good. Nice character development with aging and maturity, even in the adults.

By dealing with not only the worse side of people ,in this situation, but allowing the best of humanity come through also. Great development of the different personalities,and descriptions of living in different states was new.

Enjoyed the story and characters!

I thoroughly enjoyed this series, three books which I devoured. A different take on a post apocalyptic event which kept me both wanting to race through it to see how it ends, but also I didn't want to finish such a great series.

Best series I have ever read, so glad I bought this book. If ever it continues, I will be first there. The characters are like family friends. The imagination to create this series is awesome. The author has a real talent that is unsurpassed. In a new world, I can see it and feel it, the challenges, the hope and determination to not lose their humanity. Loved it.

One of those books that you try to take a long time reading cause you don’t want it to end

The last book in the Sympatico Syndrome series and it was a fabulous, page-turning, fast-paced and action-packed book. I couldn't stop reading it was so good that I had to keep finding out what came next. The characters were amazing and the story itself was so believable that it was scary. A brilliant series that is a must-read and you won't be disappointed.
