Also ordered the Megainvo at same time. Exactly same except color. However this lighter was easier to fill than the Megainvo. I suspect it’s just a single unit variation, or more trapped air in the tank. At any rate it’s working well so far and hopefully will last longer than the Costco multipack lighters.

I would say this is just another piece of junk from China but I honestly cannot find a country of stamped or printed anywhere on the device. It seems constructed fairly well...it just does not work very well when it does work and that is rare. When I do get the thing to light, the slightest wind can blow the flame out and I mean something like the AC vent in my house not an outside wind...forget that. This defeats my purpose for buying the lighter as I wanted something that could tolerate a wind. A standard lighter does a much better job than this. And that is if you can get it to light. I have tried everything and nothing will give me a consistent ignition. Maybe 1 out of 100 tries. If I do get it to light, all appearances are it has a good flame but as I stated previously the SLIGHTEST WIND will blow it out. Even if there is no wind the flame will just go out after about 5 seconds. Would I recommend this to a friend??? Only if I wanted to make him hate me.

I bought this torch lighter to use outside with the bbq grill. This lighter comes empty without any flighter fluid on it. I had to go out to buy a lighter fluid refill but the lighter worked well after that.

Bottom line: it lights fairly consistently, but clearly leaks gas for about 10 seconds after u are finished. The flame doesn’t shut off, it slowly dwindles then shuts off. I would NOT USE indoors with this flaw.

I ordered this in a pinch and was extremely excited when it arrived, only to find out it did not work. At first I had thought that it was defective, but after reading about it and reviews here I learned that it does not come with butane. Who sells a lighter without lighter fluid?! I have never heard of this. At first I believed this to be an oversight on my part, but the product description says nothing about needing to fill it with butane, it only states that it is REfillable with butane, which to me implies that it should come with butane to begin with.

We were needing a long dependable lighter. This lighter met our needs. We have only had it a few days but it works well.

This lighter does not work. I bought butane and filled the lighter. The lighter will not sustain a light. It will sputter a little bit. That is all. The spark actually works for my BBQ so I am keeping it. Buyer beware

Lit the first few times but now works only after twenty clicks despite refueling.
