Super heavy !! Ideal for forearm exercise too ! :)
Its super heavy ! Its a skillet and so it needs to be moved a lot during cooking. You have to put your shoulder into it to move it effortlessly. Its not a non-stick obviously and so it will need more handling to avoid food getting burnt as its a flat skillet. Also not a good option if you aren't going touse oil with whatever you are cooking. You may want to consider a thinner version if you are going to use it everyday. Cast iron burns food quickly on higher gas cooking temperature and the color of your food also changes a bit depending on what you are cooking. Its a solid built skillet but the cook might have to apply iodex if not use to lifting heavy weights! :) i use it to cook eggs and i love it as i hardly have to cook for more than 5 mins and there is only 1 flip. Plus i don't clean it too! However, if you are looking for a healthy choice cast iron is the way to go !

Eacellent Cast iron V
This is a very well-made cast iron skillet, Ideal for small frying and grilling. the heat retention and distribution are excellent and I did not find any cold spots. The handle is very good, sturdy, and attractive. A well-fitting lid with a wooden handle would have made an excellent addition to an already superior skillet.

Cast iron cookware is much better than non stick coated
Have been using this for quite some time, this is very good for making parathas, roties, omelettes etc. Very little oil is required compared to plain iron tawas - which form a carbon coatingso thick in less than a year that we have to dispose .But this one is easily maintainable, just needs a light oil coating after washing and drying , to keep it rust free.Only problem - the handle is not tightly screwed on - not easy to toss rotis/turn over easily.

Item quality is good, but it's really heavy.
Product is really good and food is yum when cooked in it. Not sticky at all. Worth the money. But it's heavy and hence cleaning it a difficult task. If you have back pain or any health issues while weight lifting then this not a good option. But I love it 🙂

great pan
This is a heavy duty pan that fits nicely in size and weight between full size and individual size pans, and its best feature is the extended wooden handle that make it much easier to pick up without burning your hand. The handle came lightly screwed on so it is advisable to tighten it up which is easy. It comes pre-oiled (not non stick, thank goodness) and with maintainance should be a pleasure to use.
