This is perfect fit for Kohler Rosario one piece toilet. Seems to be the only non Kohler product that works for this toilet

I have purchased this item multiple times, most were from a big box hardware store until they stopped carrying this part number. Each time it last just past the warranty period. So, they have the timing down to a science. I do recommend this item as I haven't found any other to last this long.

This flapper packaging says it fits specific Rialto models, among others. I used it to replace the flapper in a 1-piece Rialto model 3402 tank and it fits and works perfectly. The shape of your flush valve must be square and not rectangular or round. My Kohler tank was installed in 1999, and again, this model flapper works perfectly. There is another flapper model out there made by Korky which is called the Shark Fin Flapper. It is for Kohler Rialto 1-piece model 3386 and will not fit the model 3402. The model number of your Kohler product can sometimes be found on the inside back of the water tank. The Shark Fin Flapper has shorter arms and will not fit the Rialto 3402. I rated this 4 stars because it works but the product description should point this out more clearly.

I have a low boy Kohler that ran. The seat looked OK, so just bought the flapper shown here. You can tell if you have this flapper by looking at the bottom. If your old flapper has a visible center with white flotation material in it, then this is the right flapper. Cured my running toilet for five bucks or so, instead of having to call the plumber. Installation is trivial.

The string is way too long for me and when left unattended, it will interfere with this part's functionality. I must yet find a way to trim it.

It fits great and stopped the running. Be aware that these need to be periodically replaced given the chlorine and other minerals in the tank water.

You'd think that out of the hundred different valves available at the hardware store, you'd be able to find what you needed. Not in my case. After buying one that looked right, but didn't fit, I called the manufacturer (LaValle) and finally honed in on the correct valve after giving their customer service agent the number etched into the tank top. Of course, a return to the hardware store found that they didn't have that model. On to the internet and Amazon.com came to the rescue. About 10 days letter, I had the valve and the toilet was back in operation. If the supplier hadn't been so slow shipping, I would have given it five stars.

It is an excellent and exact substitute for Kohler. I have visited a lot of hardware stores but non carries the origin Kohler product. So why not buy it here without making a trip?
