I bought this for a Vizio television that is in a hydraulic lift at the foot of the bed. The tv speakers are in the back, which means they project into the wooden cabinet behind instead of towards the person watching. It really needed a source of sound from the front. The cabinet is just 24” wide, so sound bar choices were limited. This one fit perfectly underneath the tv, and it isn’t noticeable... it seems as though it’s part of the tv . The remote control is tiny, but the buttons are raised, so it’s easy to use.One complaint: the lowest volume is nice and quiet, but the next step up in volume is quite a bit louder, so it’s not ideal. A smaller step up in volume would be better. The next steps up seem less radical, so I’m not sure why the engineers did it that way. It’s a small annoyance. The sound is good at all levels.

The setup was simple and took only a few minutes. The soundbar fits right in front of our TV but comes with hardware for mounting. You get 3 different cables for connecting the device to the TV and choose one. The device comes with an adapter to plug in for power. The soundbar works for both the TV and bluetooth. I like this feature for playing music. The remote that comes with the device is a bit of a struggle. I kept having to move around pointing at different spots on the device when I wanted to adjust the volume. Pointing at the device directly did not always work. It would be nice if there was a way to show the volume level on the TV (like a typical volume bar), as sometimes it's difficult to tell how much you've changed the volume with the remote until it is suddenly very loud. Overall I am very happy with the device and would recommend. Looking forward to watching some action movies with surround sound this summer.

Our amplifier and speakers died to our stereo system. I don't know why it was only 35 years old. So I headed up to Walmart, Told the young man what I wanted and he just stared at me. I knew I was in trouble, because he was younger that our stereo system. On the way out I tried the sound bar on display. I was impressed. I came home and told my husband and he found one on Amazon. He ordered it and it arrived in the time promised. I don't think it could have been installed it without my husbands background as a Television Technician. (another job that longer exists)The sound is so much better on our television now. Here's to another 35 years.

The sound bar works fine but it is not compatible with the xfinity remote so you have to continue to use another remote other than the TV remote when using the sound bar. The product should have told you somewhere in the AD.

Overall it’s a great product. Great volume and sound for a sound bar. I do like being able to use it for my TV, my Eco Dot, and my Bluetooth phone at the same time. I got this as a review item but the cost is reasonable for what you get. I’m thinking of buying another for my upstairs office.

My previous sound bar had controls on the top. You pushed multiple buttons at one time to use different options. My heavy cat sat on the top & must have pushed too many buttons because it never worked again. Anyway the sound on this Akixno is as good as the other more expensive sound bar. This sound bar only takes optical or RCA inputs. My TV only had digital outputs so I did have to buy a digital to optical converter. Plus I learned something important, RCA connections on a TV are usually for input only. So it may not work if you try to have an RCA output from the TV to a device like a sound bar. Believe me nothing happens. The remote with the Akixno is like a child's toy very small & of a cheap feeling material. So far I have kept up with it & haven't dropped it so it is doing fine.

I'm not sure how this speaker has such stellar ratings, it sounds pretty awful. I understand that in the sub-$100 soundbar market, expectations should be tempered, but this thing sounds like airplane headphones. The sound that comes out is tinny and completely without depth. No bass whatsoever. I didn't expect much since these are 10W speakers, but there's nothing here to speak of. The volume control is also very poor. The media could not be loaded.  Great Little Sound bar for a good Price. It is small but it packs a good punch. It was nice that they included all the cables you would need to connect the sound bar to the TV (Optical Cable/RCA Cable/Line In). sound bar also has a Bluetooth function that works great.Like that the control buttons are on the side and not on the top like most other sound bars.Great Sound upgrade from the built in TV speakers. Sound bar is loud when the volume is fully turned up but I recommend not having it all the way up. Best sound with the best base is to keep it a lower than the max. For this price, you are getting a great entry level sound bar. You just can’t beat it
