Doesn't work. 1 and 1/2 bottles 2 dogs, correct dosage and both are still eating poop. Disappointing

This stuff does help freshen breath and slightly deter the eating of feces. I will keep using it because dogs can get so sick from eating animal excrement. Majorly disappointed to have a lot in the container broken and powdered up- not many whole pieces- first for it Tractor supply and can’t seem to find it there anymore. It’s expensive for what it is but even if it is slightly effective it could help save my dogs from getting sick- just make sure the next bottles are not crushed powered pieces- I give it to them with a tiny bit of peanut butter because they don’t like the taste-

So I bought this stuff not really expecting much! On the third day of giving it to my dog I went to Six Flags to celebrate my granddaughter‘s birthday. We were there for at least 10 hours. I came home and there was poop on the puppy pad, but he did not eat it! 😁 here it is a week after I have been giving this to him and he does not poop in the house anymore probably because he doesn’t want to eat his poop anymore and he is no longer locked up in his cage because he does not have this bad behavior anymore so do not hesitate to buy! This stuff works! 😁😁😁

I bought this to prevent my German Shepherd puppy from eating his poop out in the yard. My husband and I tried our best to stay on top of cleaning the yard, but the puppy still managed to find some hidden piles and eat it! With it being winter, we couldn't dig through the frozen ground and install one of those in-ground pet waste systems with digestive enzymes. We had to settle with shoveling the poop and throwing it out in the woods. Despite the many negative reviews, I hoped against all hopes that my puppy would be part of the 1% that this product worked for. Alas, that was not the case with the dog. Strangely enough, he liked the taste of the tablets. I gave him one tablet a day with his dog food. He'd save it for last and eat it like a treat. For the first few days, he seemed to avoid his poop. However, the effect seemed to wear off and he was back to eating his poop again. I even started doubling up the tablets and putting chunks of pineapple with his food. Still didn't work. Tablets did nothing to freshen his breath (probably because he's still eating poop), did nothing to deter him from eating his poop, but we did notice a decrease in his dog farts! What a waste of money, but I'm glad I read the reviews and bought the small count bottle so I didn't end up wasting too much money and product. So far right now, we've opted for a zap collar and that seems to be the only thing working--he's avoiding the poop piles after negative reinforcement, but we still have to keep an eye on him. He's a sneaky dog and will snap it up when he realizes he's not being watched!

This product did not work for us. At first, the dog ate the pills whole, then we had to break them into 1/4ths, then she stopped eating them at all. Tried hiding them in cream cheese (which we do with her other meds) and then in dog meat. She continued to eat her feces, although not entirely as she had done before. So, I guess I could say that they "sorta worked". We had used another brand before with better results.

So it's obviously a disgusting habit that many puppies go through. I've read up as to why they do it whether it be lack of nutrients in their diet, or too rich of nutrients. I've also read that dogs can 'eat their poop' due to boredom, etc. I picked this product because I was able to get it fast, and because it has a money back guarantee. Long story short, I have a Chocolate Lab and he does not like eating these tablets, so I have to break them up into 4 pieces and mix them with his food and hope he doesn't pick around them. Regardless, I've been using these tablets for almost a month now and he still comes back with poop breath. I guess I'll just keep trying other products until I find something that works, because it's embarrassing to tell someone not let my dog lick them because he's a little poop eater. Maybe it'll work with your dog, but it sure didn't work with mine.

We’ve been using this product for just over a month with absolutely zero results. Our dog is still eating his stool if we don’t watch him. For our dog, useless product.
