Helps my knee while moving around and while walking

I had surgery on my knee about 10 years ago because of a meniscus tear and I've got some arthritis in that knee and so this brace has been really helpful to mitigate strain when I'm doing some walking or other physical activities

This is a recent purchase for the Mueller Hinged to accompany another Mueller non-hinged product that I have had for serveral years... not purchased here. I was looking for another of the same, but ended up buying this one from Amazon as they are almost a like, except for the hinges. My old non-hinged has provided very good support for my knee when it starts to ache and feels like I have parts loose in my knee. I have not seen a doctor about my condition, but find that if I have not been exercising such as riding a bike for a couple of months this problem shows up. So I go back at it and it clears up. What I like about this product is that it wraps around the knee rather than using a pull on sleeve type with no adjustment for how tight you might need it, which I have used many years ago when I went skiing. This type of hinged support seems to do the job just as good as the one without... maybe a bit better and it does help pervent hyper extending, which is a plus, however it does add a bit of width due to the hinges, but I don't see it being a problem so long as there is leg room if your wearing pants, in my cases I still have a non hinged. For those that have the occasional knee pain like I do, this wrap has been worked for me even know most of my experince has been with an older version without the hinges and I expect this one will do the job just as well. One tip that I find helps with comfort when you wear this for more than 8-10 hours is use an old tube sock by cutting the top off and and use the top by slipping this over the knee before putting on the brace. I would recomment this product for at least those that have a similar condition. Edit: I have used this hinged version a few times now for extended periods and maybe I have not broken it in yet, but I prefer my non-hinged version made by the same company over this one. Time may tell if this will improves or not.

This brace was not exactly what I expected. It was a simple wrap around knee brace but didn't give much support. Pictures show as if there are adjustable x-cross straps along the front, but actually those are fixed in place. And cannot be tightened. Also the hinges do Not stabilize the knee at all. I expected a better brace from the Mueller brand.

I put this on an 8 1/2 X 11 piece of printer paper for size reference. First, the gel "donut" is only half, not all the way around. The other brace I bought from a different brand has a full circle of padding. The straps and Velcro are sturdy but one side is very, very short. There is no give to the straps at all which is good for support but the long strap also attaches to a very small area of Velcro, so I'm not sure how there is a "range" of sizes listed. The other brace (from a different brand) that I purchased based on the measurements, according to the directions, fit me perfectly. This is too small (and although the metal hinges are in the SM/M pocket, I did have them in the LG/XL pocket when I tried them, so that is not the issue). This item CANNOT BE RETURNED. My bad, I guess for not paying attention to the return policy. I thought it was an Amazon Prime item. Second, if this is NOT a returnable item, then I would love to know why the one that I received had CLEARLY BEEN OPENED BY SOMEONE ELSE, YET SOLD AS NEW. The clear security tape had been removed and was folded over the plastic packaging. This was NOT NEW, though it is not dirty, so hard to tell if it has been worn before. My guess is that someone else had the same experience that I did but was somehow able to return theirs. I try to buy items manufactured in the USA, when available. The item seems sturdy but is very poorly designed. This was a disappointment in the inaccurate sizing and a used item sold as new.

This knee brace provides great support and feels comfortable to wear throughout the day. The adjustable straps make it easy to get a secure fit, and it helps stabilize my knee during walking . It feels well and offers excellent value for the price

This knee brace gives amazing support while stabilizing the knees. It keeps you from hyperextending the joint and makes it easier to walk without pain. It is adjustable to almost any size and is easy to put on and take off. I felt like it is a great value for the price. Quality materials make it durable, too.

Una excelente marca en rodilleras. Mi esposa ya hace una década se lesionó la rodilla y empezó a usar rodilleras, tuvo varias; pero hasta que compró Mueller quedo satisfecha. De hecho tiene todavía una rodillera Mueller; pero es cerrada; y sus piernas son impresionantemente musculosas y gruesas por andar mucho en bicicleta. Hace una semana le regreso el dolor en la rodilla y quiso usar su rodillera anterior; pero no le entró y compramos esta rodillera abierta y le quedó a la perfección y al estar reforzada de los laterales de la rótula con barras con bisagra, le da mucho soporte y le disminuyó sensiblemente el dolor. Si quieres realmente una rodillera de gran calidad y que ayude con el dolor de rodilla, Mueller es una excelente opción.

Great fitting leg brace that can be adjusted according to the size needed. Gives the correct support I need preventing my knee from twisting. Has been great allowing me to go and do bush walking with my wife.
