Suitable only for a hobbyist
Bought this to sort out a stripped aluminium thread on an exhaust manifold for a petrol pressure washer and to clean the threads on the manifold studs. Handle for the tap & the one for the die both failed to hold their tap & die's in place. As said product is more than functional for the hobbyist but this product will not last long for anyone working day in day out cutting or repairing threads. It served its purpose for me though so it is a keeper.

Great value for what I needed it to be
I only needed to repair a handle on a double glazed window unit so didn’t want to spend a fortune. This kit was surprisingly well made and did the jobs I needed really well. Not sure how it would stand up to heavy use but for occasional usage it’s up to the job. I will say it is very therapeutic fixing loose fitting bolts so have used it more times than anticipated

You pay for what you get - tap wrench cracked
Overall you could argue this is good value budget entry level set that will probably get you through some minor jobs. However my tap wrench cracked after only a short period of use, could be a casting fault just on mine I suppose, but left me halfway through a job with the tap stuck halfway through some steel. The taps seem to be good enough and before the wrench cracked I was quite happy with the set.

Das Produkt kam schnell und gut verpackt. Die Materialqualität ist augenscheinlich recht gut, muss sich selbstredend noch im Alltag bewähren. Da ich als Flugmodellbau erledigt dich Holz und Kunststoff und in ganz seltenen Fällen einmal Aluminium zu bearbeiten habe, sehe ich mit dem Produkt keinerlei Qualitätsprobleme. An alle, die eine negative Kritik zu diesem Produkt abgeben: man muss auch mit einem Gewindebohrer/Gewindeschneider umgehen können. Wer das Werkzeug beschädigt, ist ganz sicher selbst schuld. Ich empfehle das Produkt und den Shop uneingeschränkt.

Tried to tap 1.5 mm stainless with M3, stripped the threads on the tap instantly. Might be fine for aluminium but would not recommend.
