Let me tell you something. I am a male, and using facial product is not my thing. But I have one stubborn annoying area that I want to fix. I have one small area under my eye that usually red for no reason. I tried so many different products to get rid of it. It a mixture of acne and blemish. It so deeply stubborn to be get rid of. I tried the product that my mom recommend me to use since she use it on her self to get rid of wrinkles and renewing the skin. I tried it since it work so well for her. It made it worse, skin end up being flaky and spreading further. Good thing it didn't go beyond. It only spread by a few centimeter but it will be noticeable this time. After so much life long soul searching (I am kidding about the life long soul searching) since I have this problem few years ago. I found this Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay. I see so many great reviews with it and just go with it. This work well with raw Apple Cider Vinegar, I recommend Bragg's brand. The reviews offer different measurement for the face mask. All you need to find the right spot. Each review have their own preference. Some reviewers like it thick, some like it thin, some like it watery. What I suggest is to do a equal part of Apple Cider Vinegar and the clay. It is thick enough at the same time, it is smooth enough to apply on your skin. If you don't like it being pastey, put less Apple Cider Vinegar in it. Stir it very well and apply it on your face. my measurement is 1 tsp of Apple Cider Vinegar and Healing Clay and it is enough for the whole face. How do I wash it off, glad you ask. Good thing I can make Healing Clay as my showering routine. I just wait to pick a time for me to shower and add the healing clay on my face 20 min before. When I am done with the Healing Clay on my face, I just drop in the shower with warm water. And I let the water spray slowly wash off the clay. Make sure the clay is not thick enough to clog the drain. You can use your hand and work on circle motion on your face gently. It will help the Healing Clay to break down in a tiny bit which will make your drain a happy pipe. The first time I applied it on my face. WHOA! it so itchy on my nose and on my cheek. I don't want to risk peeling off the clay. So what I do is just tap on the skin where it is itchy. Usually it work well. I don't know why It work well by tapping on the itchy area. You will feel the skin tightening which it is normal. the negative part is it best suggestion not to speak or move your mouth while the clay is working hard to make you look great. It is a positive thing from me since my primary language is American Sign Language which so easier to use it while leaving my face in a very serious stern look. I noticed my acne and blemish is disappearing slowly but it is working well for me. And it really help when you have a zit or a pimple with white showing. Don't pop it, just apply the healing clay on it and wait for 15 min. It seem to pull the zit and the pimple out of your face without the pitching-red-spot left over. and Wash it off, you will see the white stuff is not there anymore. It really work so well and surprised me. To be honest, I actually search Amazon for a honey face mask since I heard it have a healing properties in RAW honey that will help the skin to feel so renewed. The first page land me this Healing Clay. If you are looking for a great healing face mask without paying got expensive raw honey. Use this clay, it more cost effective. and Apple Cider Vinegar is dirt cheap in any store, usually $2. I ask my friend whom have a very oily face to try this out. And she did. It actually reduce her face from being oily. It stop for being oily for 24 hours then the oil production on her face slowly came by, but it wasn't a fast comeback. She would buy this product to help manage her oily face. My suggestion is go for the smallest size and try it out.

Then the spray (let dry) and finally the Jojoba oil. I also use the spray and oil after the mask, which heals and seals your pores. Since I've been using this routine, my skin looks luminous and almost 10 years younger. I'm not joking. I've bought the most expensive products on the market and none of them compare to these which are a 1/10th of the cost. Let me know if any of you try it. I've been dying to try a mud mask. I've always had smooth skin, rarely a break out even in teenage years... but I was noticing my skin wasn't as smooth, even with my face products. This is an adventure! Make sure you've got a wash cloth because it's going to be challenging to rinse off otherwise. But it's very effective. It did feel like a deep clean. As I expected I did have a blemish each of the 1st two times I used it as my skin adapted to it, but it really has been a game changer & very much returned the smooth texture to my skin. On my 3rd application, my skin had fully adapted & no break outs. It's not my favorite smell, but it's not bad. I don't use the vinegar because I'm histamine sensitive, but it works just fine with only water to mix the mud. I feel like my moisturizers can absorb better since I've been using it & I appreciate that it's such an easy, effective product.

This review is a lot like the others. My skin type is super sensitive, extremely oily, and riddled with acne. All forms of acne. Whiteheads, black, heads, cysts. Acne that isn't just unpleasant to look at but actually hurts. I am very pale but my face always has been a shade of pink of red. Very uneven skin tone. And I'm allergic to salysilic acid. So most acne treatments do t work for me. But so far, this product has been great. It bas decreased the amount of oil my face produces and significantly made my pores smaller all while cleaning all the gunk out of them. Only complaint so far, it is hard to clean up once you are done.DO NOT WASH IT DOWN YOUR DRAIN IT WILL BLOCK IT I PROMISE YOU. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS MUD. I mix it with apple cider vinegar (which makes it smell kind a bad) and then lather it on my face. I make a big amount of it and store it in my kitchen so I can use it later. After putting it on my face I pet my cats or read a book for 20 to 45 minutes. I usually leave it on a long time because then it is easier to take off. Now the hardest part. Taking this thing off your face. This is what I do. Go to the bathroom, stand over the sink and block your drain. I put two prices of paper towel in the sink to catch the falling mud chips. Then move your face. While you were petting cats or reading books or whatever for 20 to 45 minutes your face froze. So now move it around to break up the mud. Then just peel it off with your hands and collect it all in the paper towel. Then once all the big pits are off, throw all that mud into your compost (composting is awesome) if dont have a compost bin/dont live in the woods then toss it in the bin but think really hard about how awesome composting is. Okay now all the big bits are off but your face is still greenish. Now i take a wash cloth and dampen it with cool water and gently rub it on my face. Get all the remaining bits off. Now put that wash cloth in the dirty laundry. And splash your face off with cold water like they do in those commercials. Great. Your almost done. Now your face is wicked red. That's supposed to happen. Apparently this product names all the blood go to your face. I just think your face is all irritated cuz you just had a mask on it for 45 minutes. But this redness goes away in 20 to 30 minutes. Like I said before. I have really bad skin. I am 19 years young. This acne should have stopped when I was 15 but no. I do t know if my acne is genetic or what. By all standards I should have clear skin. I am a vegetarian, I drink lots. of water, I use all the washes. I've only used it twice so far but I it has been working for me. No big accomplishments yet but my skin is slowly changing. Best of luck to those who suffer from bad skin. I know what it is like to have people comment on your acne in public, or have little kids asking you what's wrong with your face and how hard it is to face things like going to the store because of the redness and the pimples. And I know the physical pain. Some people are lucky and just get a zit. Others get actually painful acne. So I really hope this product helps all of you lime it is helping me. So, let me start off with the fact that I'm a skeptic. I was completely unsure whether or not this stuff would actually work, but considering all those other amazing reviews, I figured, " what the heck, might as well give it a try. It's cheap". I bought 2lbs of it just in case I did happen to like it, and OH MY GOD, it worked after the first try!!! I tend to have problems on my T-Zone, so mainly white heads and black heads on my hairline, in between my eyebrows, on my nose, and my chin. I also have some visible pores only on my nose which was my main concern. Now I can tell you this stuff made my skin feel super tight, as if the aging from my skin was being sucked out of it, but it was actually all that crap INSIDE my skin! I recommend using water the first time because you can't be too sure on how your skin will react with vinegar but even if it's just water, it still works GREAT !!! I leave it on for about 30-35 minutes (you'll feel it get itchy and tight, that's when you know it's working!) and take it off in the shower!! DO NOT RUB IT OFF!! LET THE WATER MAKE THE MASK GET SOGGY AND SOFT AND LET IT SLOSH OFF!!! It's much softer on your skin this way and it won't be so irritated!! NOW DON'T WORRY IF YOUR SKIN IS BRIGHT RED AND SENSITIVE AFTER YOU TAKE IT OFF!!! IT'S OKAY!! YOU'LL BE OKAY, haha. I put some very light lotion on my face to soothe the skin and the redness will disappear in about 20-25 minutes!! I notice this has gotten rid of A LOT of my black heads and quite a few white heads!! My skin looks and feels as soft as a baby's butt!! I sweat a lot when I work out so I'll get acne on my shoulders, back, chest, and rarely butt. Put this stuff on your problem areas and you'll see an improvement in a week!! It's cheap, it works, it's CRUELTY FREE, it's basically everything you could ask for!! The 2lb container will last you for at LEAST 3 months, depending how much you use it (i use it 2-3x a week because i don't want to irritate my skin too much). The cons however are this - it's MESSY - that's it, it's just messy. Use a plastic sandwich bag and mix it in the baggy to get a soft, smooth consistency and put about 1/4in of clay on your face. That way, you can save the already mixed mask for later! Be sure to zip it with no air inside so it doesn't dry up!! All in all- BUY THIS PRODUCT, IT'S AMAZING BUY BUY BUY BUY

Have been using this for years. It completely helps my skin and hair. Putting it on my scalp to cleanse it every once in a while has completely changed my hair health for the better! Not only the hair but also my face I feel less oily afterwards and just so clean and fresh. Definitely moisturize after obviously!

I should have read description and reviews more carefully - I wish I could return but I opened it so the seal is broken. The mud itself seems fine and good quality, however I was looking for a mud that was already in a wet/paste like state - this is dry clay that you need to mix with water to make the mud - it is very very messy and not what I wanted. Unfortunately I bought the larger size too. It's not for me - I would not buy again. All that said if you're up for mixing it, it will probably last a very long time, and I do believe the quality of clay is very good.

I'm usually skeptical about this kind of product, especially when the reviews seem "too good to be true". But it really is a life changer!! I came back for a big jar after I'd bought a small container of it previously to test the waters and it lasted me the good part of the year - would've been longer if I'd been a bit more sparing with my mixes (I kept making more than I needed and giving portions away to convert friends and family who wanted to know how my skin became so suddenly stunning, lol). I only use it 1-2 times per week or so, sometimes less, whenever I feel I could "use it". My skin is sometimes very red after (doesn't hurt just visual), but only for an hour or so tops, and then it's bright and glowing! I can tell the difference instantly and I always get compliments and comments on how nice my skin is after; people often think I'm using skin smoothing filters on photos, it's really something. All I do is mix it with water (says on the label you can add apple cider vinegar but I've never tried), sometimes I'll clean my face with some drugstore biore face wash first, no special additional skincare routine. Generally I'll slather it on in the tub and let it sit til it dries on my skin while I shave my legs or whatever - I don't time it, just wash it off with water and a lil exfoliating cloth after it starts feeling tight (I think it'd come off with just water but I'm impatient, so the cloth is more just to speed up the removal than part of the ritual). Seems from the reviews it's not compatible with some people, but I think it's totally worth trying out as the majority seem to get great results. (Also, I'm no expert but I'm kind of confused about the complaints on reviews of expiry dates or why this product needs an expiry date at all - it's literally just clay powder you turn into mud. Does clay even expire lol? For the record, though, my first buy didn't expire til July 2021 and this recent one not til April 2022, which honestly I think it'll last me til so I'll update yall next year if I notice a difference past expiry LOL. Also, there's two numbers on the tub: one is the batch/lot number that's something like "7 2 0 1 9", the EXP is listed after that one in similar format.. So if for some reason you do feel literal dirt dust has a necessary due date, make sure you're reading it right?). Oh one last tidbit: I just leave any left over mix in one of those plastic bowls for mixing hair dye and let it dry out, then you can just peel/crumble that into the trash for an easy clean up. You could definitely clean the wet clay mud off if you wanted, I just think this is simpler. Says on the container to use plastic not glass, not sure why, maybe it wares away glass over time or eats at the finish or something, since it must have some mildly caustic property in order to exfoliate skin - also why your skin can become red. Common sense I feel like a lot negative reviewers didn't use when freaking out about it instead of accepting a natural occurring result of the process that maybe just wasn't compatible with them.. sorry not sorry).

I bought this clay to make my own natural remineralizing toothpaste and also to use as a face mask. I bought the 2Lb version as it was better value than the 1Lb and it arrived packaged well with the clay was nicely filled up to the top. :) I think it's wasted packaging when you buy something that arrives in a big container only to find that there's a lot of 'air space'. First of all, it should be noted that this is CALCIUM BENTONITE clay, not SODIUM BENTONITE. Some other companies sell "Bentonite Clay" but on closer inspection, you'll realise it's sodium, not calcium. A lot of people may not realise this but it's important because it's the calcium version that has the healing and curative powers and can be safely consumed, hence used in toothpaste. This worked great! As a face mask when mixed with apple cider vinegar, you can definitely feel the tightening powers as it hardens and my skin was clearer, smoother and more toned after. Amazing. It also feels so good using only two ingredients with no preservatives. You don't need to use too much though- if I put on a very thick mask, it's pretty difficult to get off! In terms of the toothpaste, I think I need to find another recipe as my toothpaste tends to harden due to the cold but I want to stress that that's due to the coconut oil, not this clay. I feel really good using this clay to brush my teeth and have been doing it for a few months. I chose to use clay over baking soda as IMHO, it's less harsh and clay is very good at drawing out toxins in general. Sensitivity has overall decreased and my teeth feels clean and overall stronger and healthier. I can't think of any negatives except that it costs cheaper to get in America but that's besides the point. If you're wondering whether you should get it or not, it has worked perfectly for my needs and I highly recommend it!! And a container this big is gonna last me ages! :)

I used this to soak 5 year old autistic boys feet. I didn’t think he would at the beginning but he did and I notice we had some really calm days after and he slept well. Going to do another foot soak today. Amazingly his speech is better and he is counting and telling us colours. Not sure if it’s a coincidence but I’m impressed

What I love: -For the price, the quantity you get and the amount you need to use is insanely good... you can't really go wrong in that sense. Overall though, I would say this is an okay product.... I use it with Apple Cider Vinegar and I haven't found it to do much for my acne scarring and it's pretty light so I doubt it would work miracles for other people facing the same issue. Also I was scared because I have sensitive skin and people seem to comment that this is really hard to remove and hurts... Honestly, it doesn't. Here's what to expect: - Your face will pulse towards the end as the clay dries on your face. Nothing unbearable at all. I actually like the feeling. - If you leave it for the allotted time and don't go way overboard, the pulsing is entirely fine. - When washing it off, gently rub your fingers on your face in a circular motion with warm water. If you do this patiently, the mask will loosen without hurting at all. - Moisturize when you're done and voila! Bottomline: I haven't noticed a marked difference in my skin using this product. It hasn't gotten rid of any acne scarring but it doesnt make your face feeel nice and clean after. If you want something that you can keep around and use sometimes without spending money then this is good.
