Best rear shock for new F150
This is my second set. First set was in 2019 and developed a rod seal leak. New units are new design and are working . When I tow a trailer with heavy ball weight these units stop the excess up and down movement . The adjustment works great to adapt to loads.

Replaced twice in 4 years. Build quality is terrible and cannot recommend.
Failed twice in less than 4 years. Originally bought a set in 2021 for my '18 F150, they were replaced under warranty in 2024 because the seals leaked. It is now April 2025, and one of the seals is again broken and leaking all over my garage floor. I do not put these shocks under a lot of stress - the most I carry is normally the yearly load of yard supplies like mulch, fertilizer, etc. I reached out to the seller, and they are not sure if they will be covered under warranty for a second replacement. Based on the fact that I have had to install them twice, going on 3 times, in less than 4 years, warrants a 1 star review.

Awesome shocks for towing and off rode.
Used for our 2017 Ford F150. They make a greT ride and are excellent for towing our 26ft travel trailer.

Not How a purchase should be...BAD!
I have pasted the message I sent to the Amazon vendor regarding my disappointment with these shocks. This says it all. Also, by request of the vendor I contacted Rancho Tech support as he asked and three days later, No Response! Dear Sir/Madam I have still not heard from Rancho and this is not a complicated situation. The adjustments on these shocks are not working. I am a 6'3" 210 lb. man and cannot turn the adjustments anymore than a 1/4 turn. I have watched videos on Youtube and they turn the knobs effortlessly. To expand a little further, upon looking at these shocks I was disappointed to see the poor quality of the shock cylinders. If I was a betting man, I would say that these shocks were possibly returned under warranty replacement at one time and refurbished and resold. The cylinders show nicks and marks that appear to have been painted over. I would not think this would be acceptable under normal quality control. Also, as I mentioned to Rancho, when shaking the shocks, a definite sloshing of liquid can be heard in the shocks, one more than the other. There is no way, even if told by Rancho, that I would disassemble the knob assembly or try to turn them with pliers. When paying $115, each I expected a quality product in perfect working order and I have not received that. Therefore I do not want these shocks. I have spent and lot of time dealing with something I shouldn't have to be dealing with at all. In the end, all I will gain from this is nothing! Having used up my time and anguishing over these dam shocks!

Overpriced garbage
I should have known when it took me 6 tries to get two shocks that weren’t damaged or defective straight out of the box that these weren’t worth the price. When I finally had two in my hands that appeared to function correctly and didn’t have dents in the body or broken adjuster knobs I installed them on my truck. The ONLY thing these have going for them is the fact that they’re adjustable. After a week or two the shock on the passenger side of the truck started making a clunking noise with every pothole I hit. I thought it was the truck. I had them set on 7 because I tow a travel trailer, so I took them down to 4 for every day driving and the clunking became worse! I can’t explain it. It just sounded like it was loose, but everything was proper. The shock didn’t have any leaks that I was ever aware of.. it’s just.. junk! Never again, Rancho. I installed some Bilsteins this morning. They feel great and the clunking noise is gone, and they were almost half the price of the Ranchos. 2017 F-150 4x4

Waste of money
Terrible shocks.dont waste your money. Less than 4000 klms they are garbage. I'll buy from a large chain that will give me some warranty or return options that's greater than a month. That's what you get thru Amazon.
