Ledger Nano X crypto wallet signer - Securely manage all your crypto assets with this Bluetooth enabled classic - Onyx Black

I got the Ledger Nano X rather than the Nano S as the X supports Bluetooth. The Set Up was straightforward and simple to follow and the connection to the App worked very well. There is plenty of material on Youtube to show how to transfer your Crypto to its Wallet. The transfer process is also pretty simple. All in all a great little device and has a real quality feel. The steel really feels strong and solid adding to the feel of the overall security of the device. My only real negative is that to buy bitcoin from the app can only be done with its partner Coinify which might not suit people who buy the coins from different exchanges. You also need to consider the their Payment Card fees versus the ease of use. I buy my bitcoin on Coinbase Pro and then I have to pay the network fees to put them into the Ledger Wallet. That is the price of having my coins securely stored, but it's worth it. The only thing I wished it came with would have been a little carry bag or wallet (a physical wallet for the crypto wallet). The device does comes with a small lanyard so it could be attached to a set of car keys for example.

Having read some of the reviews here, some of which were quite negative, I was a little reticent to buy this product, but I'm so glad I did. The whole package, including the software, Ledger Live, works really well, and is brilliantly designed. It's easy to set up with the software smoothly guiding you through the process. It's the whole package so you don't need to join another crypto exchange to buy and sell your crypto assets. You can sell/buy/exchange right from the hardware and associated software. Once the software is set up on your phone and/or computer you can see your accounts/valuations etc. without having to connect the hardware. It's a very well thought out and implemented product. I thought it was a bit expensive before I'd received it, but now, having used it, I think it's worth every penny.

I’ve bought 2 of them and none of them are working. The batteries won’t charge and the Bluetooth seems very bad too. I would avoid buying it.

If you’re here, I’ll assume you have a basic understanding of crypto as there are far better explanations out there than what I’d be able to provide! This is a hardware wallet, a method of keeping your private keys disconnected from the internet and therefore (theoretically) one of the safest ways to secure your assets. Any transactions requiring your private keys (e.g. sending coins) need the Nano to physically be present as that’s where the keys actually are The Nano is managed through the Ledger app or program. You install tiny apps on the device for each coin you want to manage, e.g. one for BTC, one for ETH etc, but it’s all done easily enough through the device manager in the app -1 star because I’ve found the Bluetooth connectivity to be a bit unreliable. It’s been hit and miss as to whether I’ve been able to complete transactions wirelessly but there is a USB-C connection to fall back to (and charge the device) if need be. Cable is included though

Wow so much smoother to use than my nano S, this now means I can transact from anywhere with my iphone rather than drag my MacBook out and plug the S in. So quick, battery seems good, buttons are responsive, and the hinged case clips perfectly on the top corner of my iPhone so the unit is effectively docked to Mir in use! No problems with Bluetooth, all in all, I think it’s all a good buy! If you are just holding on to coin for the future, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the ledger nano S but if you are using it daily or even weekly, then the X is a worthwhile investment.

Bought 2 units as back up in case the primary broke or got lost. Guess what, primary stopped working after 2 years, and the unboxed backups DOA. Seems they died in the box, not available when I needed them most. Consider alternative brands, battery failure is a known issue with these (google it), but I think it’s made of poor quality components and manufacture, as even with a dead battery I expected it to work on a powered USB port. Instead it behaved erratically when I went back to check 1.5 years on. Disappointed does not even begin to cover how I feel. Save yourself pain away from this well marketed (but not reliably produced or designed) French product.

One of the best storage devices around. Had mine for months and bought from amazon. No issues. I note some reviews saying it is a scam. This is not, they all come with pre saved phrases You do not add your own but pick from ledger and write down. You can set ut up from scratch twice if you like*before adding funds) and download apdates. Best to watch youtube videos on set up. Charge battery before setting up. Works with metamask very easy. If you loose or damage it, just buy a new one and import your 24 seed phrase.

Ive only just set the nano x up. All is pretty straight forward to set up. The initial pin number is chosen by yourself so you need to write this down clearly and safely and dont lose it or show anyone else. The 2nd security measure is the 24 word recovery phrase. At first I was unsure if the devuce was a scam as some reviews say there shouldnt be any words set. After a bit of digging on the ledger website and reading a few times as some parts confused me, they say that the ledger device ie the nano x automatically generates these 24 words for you! In the install vid theres a part that asks if you chose the 24 words yourself? Not sure what that part was as it didnt display it on my device. Maybe a different model? All seems fine and I now have more piece of mind that any crypto value increases will be better protected against hacks. Fingers crossed

Other reviews mention that the battery is poor and that some devices may have been tampered with but I did not have that experience so please double check your product prior to loading your funds onto it. ✅ Pros ✅ - Wireless connectivity to your mobile phone to transfer crypto without being tethered to a computer - Small device with support for most crypto currencies - Name brand and secure device - Supporting majority crypto blockchains - Well packaged and great instructions - Well built materials with decent battery if you fully turn off the device ❌ Cons ❌ - If left on the device battery drains quickly - Material of the body of the device could've been better instead of plastic - Product support by Ledger is reportedly slow but luckily i haven't encountered that - A few users reporting that the device may have been tampered with and that the battery life is not good 📝 Overall 📝 I will give the product a 4.5/5 ⭐️'s as I am quite happy with my purchase and no issues have been found since my ownership. I've always been a supporter of Ledger cold wallets so the security behind the name played a big part in my purchase. The device is expensive so if I had some of the other negative experiences other users had, I would lower my rating. As of now I would happily recommend this product to friends and family!

Alors on me demande de laisser un commentaire de la clé usb ledger nano x voilà c une clé intéressante pour garder les crypto a l'abri du vole le seule problème de cette clé cest que s'est écris en anglais et en tout petit et qu'il faut avoir une supers vus et en plus il faut comprendre un peut l'anglais pour la configuré en français jai galèrer a la configurer en français au bout de 3 jours j'en avais marre voilà mais en dehors que s'est écris en tout petit et que s'est en anglais s'est un très bon produit pour mettre ses crypto a l'abri voilà merci au revoir.
