How are the individual sticks opened. It states easy open? Maybe the seller can answer what is meant. Sounds like a mess in the car.

Not a mess at all. Super simple. Put the sealed end of the stick vertical ( as opposed to flat) on your teeth and bite down to open. My toddler eats these on the go daily with no problem.

how long are the sticks? Want to make sure I have a tall enough container to put them in for serving.

These are about 6 inches long. They will store in a box, glass container or in a cup on the countertop.
