Great Value and Quality
I've had this product for about a year. I think it's a great loft bed for what you're paying.I put it together myself, and you have to lean some parts against something to attach other parts but it's doable. Easier with two people but doable.IMPORTANT: Save the assembly instructions because for the most part they have you put it together in the easiest order as possible.Otherwise, if you ever have to disassemble it, you'll be looking at it and wondering how to reassemble it again and thinking...duh...You probably can down load the instructions from the manufacturer's website, but still, why hassle with that if you don't have to?I compared the structural way it was built with other loft beds on Amazon; the placement of the cross pieces and such, and I think they used the least amount of material while making it structurally sound so as to keep the cost down.It shakes slightly when climbing up/down the ladder and squeaks a little but it's solidly built. However, I didn't attach it to the wall (and I can't remember if they supplied hardware to do so), so it's free standing but still very sturdy. There's a lot of metal beams in this building and I didn't want to mess with it.Some comments are about some shaking. If people want something that is absolutely squeak and shake-free you'd have to use gauge steel like the heavy duty metal stocking shelves in Home Depot. It'd cost hundreds of dollars then.My friend occasionally climbs on while I'm on it. The combined weight is about 260 lbs. There's no sign of it collapsing or tilting.I have it set up in the living room of my apartment with a computer desk underneath it and it blends in nicely. Very cool. It's airy open build and black finish doesn't give the living room a cramped "closed in" feel. It's a guest bed but I've been sleeping in it for about a year since I'm helping my friend get it together and she's in the bedroom. I've slept very deeply on it. I bought the mattress and padding on Amazon too. It's very comfortable; I sleep so soundly. One main vertical beam was dented which I didn't notice until it was assembled. They had me take a photo and and they quickly sent out another one.The only thing I'd say is the ladder rungs dig into the feet and feel uncomfortable but I've used that water pipe insulation foam that wrap around water pipes and it's very comfortable; however, after a while the foam splits apart and you have to replace it. I have to figure something out. But really, this is no big deal in the overal picture.I think all around it's a great value and you won't be disappointed.

Good frame for the price
I’m always afraid of items like these because you never know what you will get. Especially after reading reviews. But I have to say, for the price, this bed is definitely worth it.I was able to put together a majority of all the pieces together by myself. But once you need to actually assemble it all the way you need a second person. But it’s not difficult. There were a few times I was scratching my head at the directions because it seemed out of order, but I just went with it, and pretty much got it together. Sometimes you feel like things may not match up but it works out.My main reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 was because the bar that attaches to the back of the bed, that acts as a stabilizing support bar, I was unable to attach it right away. There were holes on one side to attach the bar but not on the other side. I even thought maybe I put a pole backwards or something but I looked all the way around all four posts and the manufacturer just seemed to forget to drill holes on the other side so I could attach it.I am just going to go to Lowe’s and get a couple bolts and nuts, drill through the other post that doesn’t have the holes and just attach it to the other side. You definitely need it for more stabilization. Once that’s done the bed will be pretty stable.

Perfect for creating more floor play space!
Great for making more play space for children. This was my main reason for purchase. My 67lb 8yr old loves this new setup. It is really cool. He has his PS5 set up underneath with a little comfy chair I got at Walmart for $29. I’m also going to get LED STRIP lights for the entire underneath the top loft. Seems pretty sturdy to not be bolted into the wall. I did buy some soft stick on pads for the corners so it wouldn’t rattle on the wall when climbing. As you can also see in my pictures I temporarily wrapped the ladder steps with tennis racket grip tape so it’s not slippery in socks. This bed I give 4 stars and price wise I give it a 5. Truly is a great value but I don’t see it lasting forever or anything. For the price, it was perfect for a 2-3 year setup for him.Ps the Height underneath from carpet to underneath loft is 58”.

Great loft bed
I looked for about 2 months for a loft bed for my 12 year old son. His room is small and limited on space so a loft bed was a must as he is growing older. I also didn't want to spend an arm and a leg but still wanted a nice and sturdy loft bed. This meet all our needs and then some. I will say the only problem I can see is the packaging. Either a sturdier carton with straps around it or put it in multiple cartons. It came in one very heavy long box that took 2 people to move. The carton was busted open on both ends. Thankfully nothing was missing and nothing was damaged. It took my husband and I about an hour to put it together. It was simple, quick and easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and each piece was labeled. Once together the bed is very sturdy and nice. It is tall so there is a lot of room under the bed. It's perfect for my son, he can even sit up in bed. Great buy!

Not Awful - but Would Not Buy Again
One of the best-priced bunk options I found; and we wanted one that left the lower half open so we could include a desk area for our son (great space-saver!). However there are some cons to be aware of: the worst is that the rails to get up on the bed are HORRIBLE to step on; very painful. They are obviously metal and so thin that it hurts to walk on them. If they were to make them a bit wider, would help. Another thing that drives me crazy is underneath the bed there is no slat or solid piece, so all the sheets, comforter etc... will hang down between the rails - just doesn't look neat.Took two of us to assemble, but wasn't too difficult. Did need to already tighten screws after the first month, as many were already coming loose. Bottom Line: wish I had gone with another option.
