No. For footings you need to know the soil density from a sample or blow count. This gives penetration resistance.

What is the fill liquid? Do you need to worry about it freezing?

Didn't work for Mobile home installation

Didn't do the job for me. I am a licensed mobile home installer and have to verify soil compaction. The local authority having jurisdiction would not accept the results from this tool.
