Well.. seller must have read my “great price” review because they jacked the price up $10. I will be buying the smaller 14 pound bags from another seller because then I don’t have to worry as much about freshness, they have other ingredient blends and also because I’m annoyed at such a large price increase. We live on an island and our supermarket is VERY expensive so that’s why the price for this food is so high where we live. I should have been buying through Amazon years ago.Original review- I feel so stupid I haven't bought this dog food from Amazon before. Our dogs love it and we like giving them high quality food ("the proof is in the poop" is their motto). We have been buying 4lb bags from our supermarket for $25 and this 21lb bag is basically the same price as the 4lb at our store. ARRGH! Anyway, now we'll be saving a lot and they'll get the same great food they love.

We have two rescue hounds pups and as soon as they turned one back in January, we put them on the adult Wild Salmon mix as it also contains a good grain like oat groats & pearled barley. Our vet wanted some grain in their diet and she really approved all the ingredients in Halo for them. They are growing wonderfully, full of pep, good muscles, and no upset stomach problems ever. After lots of prior research, we loved that this product is made in the USA and covers all the things we wanted in a good honest dog food. I highly recommend this product

It's expensive, but so is canine cancer. So we make the necessary budget juggles and is a staple for my dogs. We have started supplementing with eggs, rice, meats, etc to help control the dog food cost and not rely on it so heavily anymore. $75 for two weeks worth of measured out dog food for 2 smaller dogs is just a hardship in general.

My dogs have eaten the old version just fine for years but the most recent bag, as soon as I opened it, it smelled off. The kibble seemed moist? It did not seem safe. Would not purchase again.

I bought this for my Shar Pei who was getting chronic ear infections and has been doing great on this food! His coat is nice 👌 I wish it wasn't so speedy but thats my only complaint

Approved by my 15 lb shih tzu mix! He's pretty picky too! Love this brand and knowing I'm buying cleanly sourced food and supporting humane agriculture.
