Wiebe 12" Fleshing Knife

I bought this to flesh out our cow hide. It worked perfectly and got the job done. Good value for your money.

Was worth the investment since I had four hides to do. The blade was sharp, kept its edge, and made short work of the hides. Would recommend for someone who had lots of hides to do. I may not have purchased such an expensive blade for just one hide. Depends on your value for time.

Purchased this knife to flesh a Blacktail Deer hide and it worked great! This a sturdy product that will last a lifetime.

Was not impressed with this tool. It was awkward to use. Used it to clean a deer hide. The sharp side cuts into the hide too easily and the dull side does little to push fat and membrane. Wouldn't recommend for cleaning a deer hide.

This is a good flesher. It did not come with a very good edge on it but after sharpening it up it works really well.

Great fleshing knife! I like that it is easy to sharpen. Took me 1 hide to figure out the best way to use it. I have now fleshed 4 deer hides and one fox. Great knife for the money!!!

Available in a variety of sizes, decent metal quality, and an excellent price point. You can't go wrong with the Dakotaline Wiebe. Shipped faster than expected as it arrived early (which is always a bonus). The blade edge was sharp however there were a few minor burrs but nothing that a quick touch-up didn't cure.

Perfect for fleshing. Great quality. Nice thick blade. Really sharp, might dull it a bit before hand.
