Russell Hobbs Inspire Electric Kettle, 1.7L, Fast Boil, Cream, 24364

Love this kettle. It was a replacement for an identical one which I’d had and used for years. I have the toaster so they’re a great match. It is so easy to use, not noisy like some kettles, takes no time at all to heat and boil enough for a pot of tea. It looks great, is proper Russell Hobbs design and build with a well fitting easily recoverable lid. It looks good on my kitchen worktop and sort of matches the ridges of my Portmeirion Sophie Conran plates.

Overall, it’s pretty much as described in the listing. Of course, it’s not really “anti-scale” 😄, but I use filtered water from my Brita jug, so I haven’t had any issues with limescale.It’s quieter than most kettles I’ve used, which I really like. However, I wouldn’t say it boils especially quickly — the seller may have exaggerated that part a little! 😄The kettle is made of plastic, but it looks quite stylish and feels lightweight. No leaks or other issues so far. Overall, I’m happy with it.

Replacement for my old kettle. No issues

Only had it for a few days, but I love the looks and the weight, which is lighter than my previous Smeg. It boils quite fast, and it is reasonably quiet, which are ALL plus marks in my book. It pours easily, and the lid lifts off completely, which are again sensible features. I've owned 3 x Smeg kettles, and they are absolutely NOT worth the current retail price. None of them lasted past two years, and all suffered the same switch problem. It's just not acceptable.That is why I decided to look at another brand. There are a few Smeg lookalikes out there and plenty to rival them in looks and features - never mind the price!! IMHO, no kettle should cost more than an air-fryer, which is far more technical!I settled on Russell Hobbs, and even if I only got a year out of this kettle, it would still be a massive saving over Smeg - in my book, that's a no-brainer. It does everything it says it does. It was a great price, and delivery was quick as well.

great kettle . quiet and good anti scale filter

Over the many years of our married life,we have tried lots of differnt kettles,some cheap,some really expensive. This one is absolutely the bee's knees. It pours perfectly,no drips,spills,the water goes exactly where you had intended it to go. I would defo recommend this kettle. The price on Amazon at present is a steal & with free prime it's even better.

Ordered as a replacement for our 4.5yr R&H of this exact model which served us well. Got the same one even though we live in Australia and this is the UK version, everything is practically the same including voltage. Arrived quicker than expected.

This is a lovely kettle but it wobbles on the base when it’s boiling surely it’s not meant to do that.
