Light fixture was a match to the one I had ...
Light fixture was a match to the one I had to relace. I tried to get light from maker of the canopy that used the light and the part they sent me was twice the price and did not match.

I could have got it cheaper at Home Depot but other than that it works fine

This is a great buy.
Went to the box store to get this lamp and found that it was much more expensive. These are a great price and they're delivered right to the house. A great deal if I ever had one!!

Great light for the shower
Picked this up at the local depot along with a retrofit 4 inch L shaped can. This was super easy to hookup. If you've never done this, it's easy for a first timer:1. TURN OFF THE POWER. CHECK IT. A good tester costs like $30, your life is worth at least $30.2. Locate where hole will be, use roughly a 4.5" template to cut out the hole (even though the light is 4", the overall size is larger, you can always trim it further.)3. Pull down the wire, connect to the can (one I got was just a matter of popping the wires into the quick connectors, took like 30 seconds, just match the colors.)4. Press up firmly on the can with even pressure, most have springs you can press on from the inside to be sure they're in. If the springs don't fully deploy, don't worry, the light fixture will help hold them where they need to be.5. Screw the connector from the T40 into the female end in the can, then do orange to orange, they click right together, a monkey could do it.6. Align the T40 so it's springs don't hit the springs/legs of the can, and press up firmly. (Don't worry, worst case is that it won't go in straight and you just pull it out, twist and push in again.) Once the light is pressed in, it should stay, just a spring loaded friction fitting.7. That's it. Turn it on.The box says this is wet rated and it's making for a great shower light. Brushed aluminum magnetic covers are available as well. White is really bright. Plenty of light for supposedly 50 watt replacement.NOTE: This will NOT work correctly with a standard incandescent dimmer. If you have the wrong dimmer there could be a delay on the light coming on and the dimmer may not be sensitive enough for it's low settings to actually turn on this light. (Bad analogy: You're running a V12 fuel injector on your weed whacker, it's not meant to run that slowly/low. Get a dimmer marked for LED/CFL.)
