Good staying power, difficult to apply
This is my first gel or creme eyeliner, and I have mixed views. On the positive side, its staying power is great - it withstands the challenges of a contact lens-wearing, allergy-prone eye. It stays exactly as I applied it for a good 12 hours, at least.A big negative is the primitive, hard-to-use brush applicator. It's almost impossible to get a clean, thin line with it. The firm consistency of the gel means that other brushes in my collection don't work with it, so I have no choice but to use this klutzy applicator. I wish US manufacturers would get with the program and give us applicators that work. Have you seen the surgically thin line that's possible with some Japanese eyeliners, like the K-Palette? That's what we need from Revlon and other American makeup companies! And the bottle was almost impossible to open the first time around. It's ergonomically unsuitable for grabbing and twisting. Wouldn't a little testing have revealed this problem?

Waterproof but Not Oilproof
Completely waterproof. Made a few swatches on my hand and forgot about it, went to work, came home, took a shower, washed my hands, and it was still there! I tried rubbing, soap, shower gel, but it just wouldn't budge which is great especially when heading to the beach or pool. However, it is not oil-proof, so if you have greasy lids like mine, it WILL smear a bit. It has a beautiful sparkle/shimmer to it, and it doesn't feel gritty like some sparkly products do. It really brings light to your eyes. The consistency is a bit pasty and very much like a thick, but soft gel, and it builds easily. The brush is quite difficult to apply with, so I use an angled eyeshadow brush to get a clean line, and it turns out fine.Same goes for the plum, and charcoal colors which are shimmery and beautiful. I was very dissapointed when I found out that Revlon discontinued their three shimmery ones. The ones that Revlon still produces (black and blue) are very matte and pigmented. Do not like them as much, because I can find cheaper alternatives such as Maybelline's gel pot. However, I cannot find any alternatives for the brown, plum, and charcoal pots. Highly recommended.

Not a good eyeliner
I am disappointed in this creme eyeliner. I bought two different colors. The colors are fine but there isn't an applicator that comes with it like it shows. I tried using a small brush.... doesn't work well. I am not happy with this purchase. The only thing that came was the jar.... no applicator.

Stays on
I have to admit I expected to be disappointed with this product. I have not had much success with inexpensive eyeliners going on well and staying on. This product is the exception, it goes on smoothly, I liked the color, and it does stay on! I would give 5 stars but i don't really like the brush. I just use my own eyeliner brushes and works very well.

I really like this eyeliner
I really like this eyeliner. I have it in purple, charcoal, and navy as well. It goes on smooth and doesn't bleed like liquid eyeliner. I noticed that some people don't feel like the brush gives them much control, but I don't snap it into the lid when using it, so I feel like I have more control than with a liquid liner. I started using it because I wanted something I could wear on my water line that wouldn't need to be reapplied every hour, and this holds up. I put it on in the morning and when I get home 12 hours later, it's still there.

LOVE IT
Absolutely love this product. It's not messy at all and glides on very smooth. The first time or two I wasn't sure how much I should have on the brush, so once too much then not enough. Now that I have it down, I will not put this product down. I own this plum and black. The plum is gorgeous and really makes my brown eyes pop! Definite must have! Oh and it truly last all day! I'll be in the office sometimes up 14hrs and the only thing I might have to do after 10hrs is wipe a tiny bit from under my eyes, but I don't care what you use it's gonna run eventually!

it's ok
I broke my expensive bobby brown pot so I thought I'd try a cheaper brand. It's OKAY but it does not go on as smoothly and it's not available in the color I need. So for the price it's fine. I do not use the brush it comes with. I use my BB eyeliner brush.

clumpy, gross, don't wear for more than 2 hours
After a couple of hours, this eyeliner makes a mess around my eyes. Maybeline has a new "gel" liner, also comes in a little glass pot with a little brush, and it's way better. My makeup artist for my wedding said the new Maybeline product is one of her secrets, adn I have to say I also love it. I literally threw the Revlon one away, I didn't even want to give it a third try.2 stars b/c the color was pretty. (But Maybeline has the plum also)

Good as a back-up liner
I like this eyeliner, although I'm not floored by it or anything. It's quite subtle and stays on for say 4-5 hours on combination skin. Texture is quite creamy. It's not as long-lasting as the Loreal Super Liner 24H (black).I find the product design a bit troublesome while using. The applicant brush has to be pulled out of the top cap every time, so you're left holding three separate things: the base, the cap and the brush. It's a bit like playing with Legos. I understand it's designed this way for ease of carrying around - but couldn't they just squeeze the gel into a pen-applicator and do away with the mess?
