Gardus GSX906 6' Extension Kit for GutterSweep GS900 Gutter Cleaning System

Well made and it actually works. My gutters are 20' from the ground and difficult to access from a narrow alley. I was paying $650/year to have them cleaned. Now I can do it myself- it takes some time and effort but it works. The extensions are necessary for high gutters.

Rotary tool broke during first use. Tried hooking up the water hose and water would only trickle out of the end of the gutter cleaner. I bought the extension set too. I can still clean the gutters with the brush attachment but the rest doesn’t work.

So I have a home with rain gutters about 18 ft in the air. Needless to say, I was not very excited to get up on the roof to clean them out! This product looked like an awesome solution. Unfortunately, the results were mixed. The good: The attachments and poles are well made. The best tool in the bunch was the scrub brush that can spray water- it really does a good job freeing up the dirt. It can actually reach quite high from ground level as long as you have the pole attachments. The bad: The rotating brush/paddle attachment broke pretty quick after I started using it. My drill was too beefy, and stripped out the plastic coupling inside the gear. If you have a drill with a clutch, put it on as low of a setting as you can. Its HEAVY! After working for a while, my shoulders and arms were on fire. The "flicking" motion described in the manual for lobbing the dirt/debris out is not really possible once the extensions are attached. Honestly, I cant see myself getting a lot of use out of this. I am attaching some anchors and wearing fall protection next time I have to go up, and just doing it by hand. I can see this being a great product for light residential clean up, but it is not working that well for me. Once the extensions are attached it gets very cumbersome to use. 3 stars. Product gets a meh.

I have VERY TALL walls. With the extension, I still needed a ladder. More extension wouldn't help me because it is too heavy if longer. (Remember that leverage lecture in physics?). My roof is metal with a steep pitch, so I won't climb on it. My gutters are finally clean!,

After cleaning out one gutter with the shovel attachment, my attempt to attach the hose adapter was rewarded by a striped out thread caused by cheap plastic threads on the attachment and receiving end. Having giving up on the rinse capability, I re-attached the shovel, checked all connections to make sure they were good and tight, and proceeded to my next gutter only to have the shovel attachment come off in the gutter! Please don't waste your money on this product! Cheap plastic connectors and threads are doomed to fail on this P.O.S. product.

This made my day by not having to climb on top of the house. It works great.

I ordered these with the main unit for reaching out to remove the leaves this fall . They just snap together and you can reach out and clear your gutter . Be sure you get the main unit also as I got one for me and one for moms house too .

Works fine but threads on hose end strips out causing problem.
