Great unit at a great price!
Bought one these back in April to keep my trailer and myself cool while we do Farmer Markets in the Arizona heat of summer. Even on those 115+ days it kept my trailer nice a cool. It is powered off of my 3500watt generator and ran all summer without a hitch, and when I say all summer I mean all summer! I turned it on in May and turned it off in October. Only time it was not running during that time frame was when I was towing the trailer from point A to point B. Highly recommend this unit it has been flawless for me.

Great Product—Not a cheap Chinese knock-off
Some four years ago, we replaced a Dometic that lasted only three years with an Advent 15K. It has run smoothly, produces more cold air, and is quieter. So, when it can time to replace the bedroom 13.5K, we went with the Advent and it is working well. Except for the challenge of getting them on the roof, installation is very easy. Knock-off

Do not wast your money on this
Like many I ordered this air conditioner because of the price. The installation was not hard, but it never worked right. I can get cooler air sitting and fanning myself. Totally not worth installing. I had just had surgery and could not install it for a couple of months, but when I told Amazon that the air conditioner did not work they jumped right in and let me return the unit and gave me a refund. I returned it and purchased a Brisk II and it is great, a little more expensive, but worth it. The interior non-ducted control box that goes with this air conditioner is not worth buying either. The knobs would not stay on, every time the camper moved the knobs fell off. I finally had to silicone them on. Unfortunately the interior control box was not shipped from Amazon, so I am stuck with it as the company will not take it back.

Cools down my van in the heat.
Works great, I would recommend this product. It has good air flow and the noise level isn't to bad. Makes my van comfortable in the heat.

Exact replacement for Dometic upper units.
This is an upper unit exact replacement for older Dometic units. It is plug-and-play with the lower control box. Just get it in place, plug in the plastic plug and the ice detector wire and it is connected. The four hold down bolts from below fit perfectly. Easy do-it yourself; but you need some help getting it on top of the RV.

Blows cold and isn't noisy
This AC unit is working very well. It even stood up to some summer heat. The hole wasn't exactly the same but the one I had was from 2006 but it was very close and a minor adjustment. I had to add the inside control box because of the type of camper I have. It also isn't as loud as my old one. I've had no leakage issues at all.
