We recommend to replace your derma roller after about 15 to 20 uses or 2 to 3 months if you are using it 1 or 2 times a week.
 
You never want to roll with dull needles as you can end up tearing your skin opposed to creating micro channels to maximize the effectiveness of the active ingredients in the products applied after.

Tip 1 - Prep your skin - we recommend a double cleanse to really get off all the dirt, oils and make-up residue. 
Tip 2 - Aftercare is really important - you must get the right serum with the right active ingredients for your needs to get the most benefit of dermarolling. We recommend choosing formulas that contain active ingredients like hyaluronic acid, stem cells, peptides, and growth factors. These types of active ingredients will really help maximize the effects of microneedling to plump, hydrate, firm and smooth out your skin.

The needles on the roller are made from titanium.  However, titanium can contain traces of nickel as a result of the production process. 
We do not recommend using a derma roller if you have a sensitivity to any metals.
