This is our model designed specifically for the Mossberg 500A 12ga. This "Pumkin Puncher" will also fit the Mossberg Maverick 88 and similar shotguns with the 1" steel take-down screw on the front of the mag tube. These will not fit a mag cap, such as found on the 500 SPX models. (Please see our other listings) This model, the M500-L-12, is designed to fit a shotgun with a STAGGERED LENGTH barrel to mag tube ratio such as commonly found on Mossberg 500's with an 18.5" barrel (if you have a 20" barrel please se our M500-S-12). If you have a take down screw that is approximately 1/4" in width, you will need to replace it with a 3/8" TDS from Mossberg or Uncle Mikes... This "Pumkin Puncher" is machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and anodized flat black. Each unit will come with all assembly hardware, including a 1.0 ml package of VC3 Threadmate, and installation instructions. Our devices simply sleeve your Take Down Screw, and attach with included hardware. A very easy install! Dimensions are as follows: An OAL of 4.630. A working length of 4.235, from the face of the take down screw to the tips of the teeth, and an OD of 1.250. Dimensions are approximate. Our brand is laser etched on the device but can be camouflaged with a black marker. Please see our other listings for more HFD2 options.
