Adds strength to my leg
I've had some injuries to my right leg over the last 12 years, including a fracture, knee issues, torn ligaments, etc., to the point of not being able to walk without a LOT of pain. From not being as active as I used to be, mythigh muscles have weakened. I wear an assortment of elastic leg "braces," which adds strength to the leg and knee.In my quest for ways to strengthen my upper legs, I bought this in size large (upper thigh is 23") to see if it would helpme to stay on my feet for longer periods of time. It actually does help. I want to share this info, so others can be helped. The large is actually a tiny bit big, meaning it is not tight, and perhaps a medium would do well. It doesn't matter though, because the 3 straps is what you adjust for tightness. The sleeve could be there to keep the straps in place (my opinion), and although a more snug sleeve would be helpful, I don't think it is necessary. What I find helpful is that there are 3 straps you wrap around your leg/thigh that you can make as snug or loose as you desire. The velcro is sturdy and will keep things in place well. The sleeve helps support my upper leg muscles that have weakened, and it helps with the terrible soreness I've had in recent years. I'm thinking of getting another one for my left leg. I think this is much better than those flesh-colored, elastic bandages (I don't want to mention the name), because this is completely adjustable in 3 areas. It is very comfortable, not stiff or heavy. And it is very easy and quick to put on. I hope it helps you, too.

10 stars for design, fit, comfort, and efficacy, but sleeve material is thin
After a recent accident, I. suffered a very severe injury to the quad muscle in my left leg and have tried almost every type of support brace and compression sleeve available. I'll spare you the reasons why most of them failed and why this one worked the best for me. As a side note, I am an old runner, and no stranger to almost every type of hamstring/quad pull, tear, and sprain, but I have never experienced anything like this before. I would rate this ten stars based upon the design, fit, comfort, and efficacy. For reference, I am a 5'3", 117 lb woman with thin legs. I've measured my legs to get the correct size (19 1/2" at the top of my thigh and 14" above the knee circumference) and ordered a size medium. So far, this is the ONLY sleeve/brace that fits from top to bottom with no gaps! It's incredibly comfortable and does not fall when I walk despite not having any rubberized backing. The three elasticized straps allow me to control precisely where and how much compression I need for each part of the injury. Oh, how I wish I had this when I tore my hamstring. This support brace is about as close to perfection as I have ever come, so why only four stars? The sleeve material is somewhat thin and weak, and when the Velcro hooks catch it, the threads get pulled out. It's not very durable and may barely last through a single injury, but I like it so much I would buy another. If the sleeve material were thicker and studier, I would have been over the moon and rated this at five stars, but I think 4 1/2 stars is about right. It truly is excellent in almost every respect, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.** If you found this review to be helpful at all, please take a moment and click the button below to let Amazon know. Thank you so much 😊 **

Amazing fit and feel.
I was playing in a flag football tournament to raise toys for tots. I pulled a hammy good enough to where I felt a pop. I have barely been able to walk or run . I read the reviews and were skeptical because the “fit” or “quality” . Well no one read the size chart. Just measure yourself !? The quality is great for the price. BETTER than the price really. Everyone get over your self. View the size chart. Order the appropriate size. I can literally now run with this. And my hamstring is destroyed. So it may allow me to practice for me minor league football team instead of sitting out

Slip down
Although I tighten the straps as much as I can they still slide down my thigh to my Knee

I had hopes about the product
I went through 3 different sizes until I got the right fit, but that isn't the reason for my poor rating. The straps are too short regardless of the size you select. Because the straps are too short the velcro partially attaches to the sleeve and pulls material off of the sleeve. More importantly, the strap material is constructed of two connected pieces of fabric. The two pieces of fabric separate from each other after one cycle in the washing machine (I did not dry them). Look elsewhere for a suitable solution.

Sizing chart is off- 22.5" mid-thigh should be XL, not L
I have very large thighs and was shocked that the tape measure put me into a large size. When I put on the sleeve, it was too tight to wear for more than a few minutes and I only walked through the house. It would have been too painful to wear for a work-out. Material seems way to thin to last very long. I'm sending back but won't try this brand again.
