Gorgeous lamp!
A really beautiful lamp. It has just the right ambiance to my bedroom that just automatically makes me relax. I have a really hard time trying to sleep because of chronic pain and anything that helps me relax in the bedroom is a wonderful bonus. This lamp gives me that sense ahhhhhh. It really gives that zen feeling. It would fit into almost any design in a room. I tend to lean towards mid century modern but I also like to mix it up. Clean lines and simplicity are relaxing to the eye. A great find.

I love these lamps!!
These are the most beautiful lamps! It's so hard to purchase online, site unseen, but if you're thinking this is the lamp for you, you're right, it is. Buy it! Soft diffused lighting turned my dark sub basement room into a warm, delightful area to enjoy social gatherings. I bought two and highly recommend!

The design = 5 stars. Execution = 1 star.
Base is chipped in multiple places and has what looks like “bubbles” in the laminate or whatever the pseudo-plastic-wood base material is. The packaging was riddled with warnings about “Proposition some # in California” which I took to mean that it was made from some form of highly deadly composite material (but only deadly in California), so just to be safe I didn’t touch the lamp, lick the lamp, or inhale anywhere near the lamp.Shade has small rips in multiple places (Elmer’s Glue fixed). The “fabric” (embossed paper over plastic shell on metal frame) of the shade bulges in multiple places as if it were poorly formed over the metal frame (which gives the lamp a very cheap look). The entire shade bends forward, so that it sits crooked on the table or floor, and I don’t dare exert any force on the upright for fear of breaking the whole mess (it has NO give whatsoever – which I guess could be considered a good point in some non-skyscraper circles). Finally, there is a virtually inaccessible, highly-complicated, 4-nut, metal-bracketed mechanism (it gives the ancient Greek Antikythera device a run for its money) at the bottom of the shade that was designed to frustrate the lamp buyer, calculate Mayan eclipses, and unbolt the shade from the pole to “facilitate” bulb placement (the instruction for which is way more simple than the process itself). If you’ve ever struggled with a hex wrench in a narrow opening when putting together a piece of on-line furniture, multiply that frustration by 7 million. Speaking of large numbers, I can think of at least 2.6 million ways this shade lock/removal mechanism could have been designed better and with more user-friendliness in mind. I ultimately gave up, opting to carefully reach down into the shade with my short T-rex arms to maneuver bulbs into place. This was an ordeal to say the least. They’re just lamps, folks. They shouldn’t be this complicated to make functional. I really wanted these to be as sleek and impressive as my expectations, and thought that was a reasonable expectation for $100 a piece (I bought 2). Unfortunately, I was tired after the setup and completely unimpressed with the final look and workmanship, so I decided to jump off a bridge. But I realized they’re just lamps. Cool looking, but poorly made lamps. So I wrote a review, reflected on my psyche, and took a deeper dive into the anxieties I have of such first-world problems. I told myself, “Some people don’t have crooked ripped lamps with bulging shades, chipped bases, and over-engineered shade-locking mechanisms.” “They don’t even have $200 to buy ANY lamps -- or tables to put them on.” I am grateful for my life and my crooked ripped lamps with bulging shades, chipped bases, and over-engineered shade-locking mechanisms. I’d recommend buying this lamp ONLY if you’re in the right frame of mind. My therapist made me say that.

Very nice looking.
This is a very nice looking lamp. It arrived fully assembled, with no problems such as scratches, dents, etc. Everything works properly. The shade is a thick plastic lined rice paper type shade that is holding its shape just fine.Tools were included to remove the shade in order to put the lower light bulb in, but I did not need to remove the shade since my husband was able to reach down and put the bulb in -- if you have shorter arms like me, you may need to remove the shade to insert the lower bulb. The lamp looks very pretty at night.

They are good quality and I am happy I made the purchase.
Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for to replace a couple of large IKEA paper lamps that finally fell apart. Placed them (I purchased 2) on an elevated shelf divider about 8 ft high in a vaulted area between two rooms. They cast a beautiful warm indirect light over the area and look wonderful.

Perfect!
First, I want to mention the lamp was carefully wrapped in foam sheeting and double-boxed in heavy-weight cardboard, so it was protected for shipping. It came fully assembled and I set it up quickly. It just fit inside the open nook of a family room cabinet, offering wonderful ambience and style. I LOVE my new lamp. Thank you Artiva and thank you Amazon.

Lovely lighting !
I love a modern look and these fit the bill. Very attractive in my living room. Bought two for end tables beside sofa. If you are looking for strong reading light, I would purchase something else. Otherwise more of a statement piece but I would repurchase for my needs . Wish the manufacturer would have put the on/off switch on the base rather than on the cord. I do love the look so 5 stars for that and quality.
