Fit great and was easy to install

I decide to spend a few dollars more and went with a well known brand. Everything fit and all the parts were included, 30 minute install.

took only 20 minutes to install. Came with all hardware.

I have put hitches on pickup trucks, SUV's and now a Jeep TJ wrangler. I must say that this Curt receiver hitch was by far the easiest and fit was perfect. The installation was straight forward, they supplied grade 8 bolts and hardware, bolted onto the Jeep frame perfectly. No beating with a hammer. I did it myself, I didn't have help on hand the day I attempted installation. It went on very easy, just like the instructions said. I had already cleaned the frame of the Jeep and then primer-ed the frame. Didn't want any rust between the frame and hitch frame. The receiver hitch is powder coated with a nice durable black finish. No flaws or scratches from the box. Heavy duty. 2 inch receiver and excellent welds. The receiver tucked right up under the rear bumper. It did not hang low, or way down below the bumper to drag. It looks professional. Best I have seen.I'd buy this one again in a New York minute if I had to! I recommend this hitch, don't hesitate to purchase from Curt. Hope this helps. Very good build quality, nice and sturdy, came with nice grade 10 hardware, unfortunately I couldn’t use it with my application as the the non threaded part of the bolts where too long, luckily I had some grade 8s lying around that worked perfectly. Fitment was tight, had to massage my gas tank skid plate with a hammer, and could not get it any further to the right due to the skid plate, so it’s out of center by just a hair but good enough. Took a little longer to install than I imagined it would due to the fitment, but I don’t really blame the tow hitch for that, better to have nice thick metal, than to not.

I stuck in a bike rack and the tow hitch likes it!

Strong and simple design. Installed within 30 minutes. Instructions were good but the size of bolts described in instructions were different than what I received. But what I received were the correct sizes. So I just implemented the same steps and it worked fine. I also found a simple instructional video on YouTube from the Curt company and that helped so much. Will be using tomorrow for the first time.
