VTech V.Smile Cyber Pocket

Vsmile games can be found cheaply on Ebay and are easy to play for kids who get frustrated with the difficulty level of modern consoles not to mention the sky high prices of games. These play like real video games, not tablet style games. I recommend Aladdin and Whiz Kid Wheels if you can find them. The Diego game is pretty good too. Only downside is that kids raised on tablets need to get used to not using the pen on the actual screen!

We have had this for about 5 months now and can't be happier with our purchase! This product is awesome! Not only can you charge with a wall adapter, but it also takes batteries for easy on the go. They also sell a car charger! Great screen picture and I love it has a writing pad also.I do wish the screen and pad were a tad bit larger, but all in all this product is a WIN! I love my son isn't constantly on a phone or tablet as so many kids are these days! It's nice for him to get educational, fun games and not be exposed to crazy radiation from our devices these days! Thank you for continuing to offer this product for an alternative option to cellular devices!

I bought this as a replacement for one that I had purchased at a yard sale that my son dumped milk on and it wouldn't work. I was surprised it was still available and at a great price. It works really well and my son already had about 20+ games. I don't think I would recommend this unless you have the games from other vtech vsmile systems, because, even on amazon, they can be between $5-$20 each and are difficult to find in any store. I've seen them at yard sales and thrift stores. The games can be finicky too, like the old nintendo cartridges. If you are buying this and expecting nintendo ds quality, you will be disappointed. The graphics aren't that great and the games start to all seem like the same game, but with different characters. But, if you are familiar with the vtech vsmiles, then I would recommended it. Research the games and other system before you buy so that you expectations are on par.

My 3 year old son absolutely loves this game. He has no problems holding it and the games are incredibly educational. I gave it 4 stars because the one I had bought first worked for an hour and malfunctioned, Amazon replaced it, though and the new one has had no problems. Also, it does have some downsides: it runs off 4 AA batteries instead on a central battery with charger (Or there is a car cable you can buy separate for it that is really convenient for road trips). I think a joystick would have been better seeing as how some of the games tell you to use the joystick; and the stylus in the middle is like a laptop mouse pad, so it's hard for toddlers to use.

I had to search for this game system every where I’m so happy I found it and for a great price my older daughter had the original version so when I was looking for an educational game that is also fun I new I wanted the latest update of what my first child had.. thank you so much 😊

VERY SAD LITTLE BOY!! (and furious parents!) I bought this in October for our son's "big" Christmas present (along with A LOT OF GAMES). He was so excited when he opened it Christmas morning . . . then it worked for a whole 3 minutes before shutting off and no amount of new batteries or game cartridge changes etc will get it to turn back on. It's a VERY EXPENSIVE paper weight now since the 30 days from delivery exchange policy has passed. DISGUSTING!!!

Went though three of these. First worked for a year, the next two died right after the 30 day send back guarantee through Amazon. I called V-Tech and they offered a customer retention discount on a new product requiring the purchase of new games. The discount available on their site and brings the price down to what amazon offers normally. In other works they offered me nothing in compensation for lost money and junk toys to continue buying their junk toys. No longer a V-Tech customer.
