This battery was a direct replacement for a BN4001and works great.

Size matched as expected. Works. Hopefully will last as long as OEM. Great value.

Bought this to replace battery in office back-up system. A little hard to access the terminals but finally did and easy to install in the unit.

Even though their product description does not list the battery dimensions, I took a chance and ordered the battery for the APC Back-UPS NS Network 40 BN4001 because they describe it as fitting this unit, but in reality you never know until you receive the product and try it. The battery fit perfect and solved the problem with my UPS, which would not work because the original battery failed. The terminals are hot F2 and neutral F1, so I had to be careful that the negative lead fit securely on the smaller F1 terminal.

If you have a different UPS then this battery is not the right one. for you as it is designed to fit the Back-UPS Network 40 model #BN4001. I have four (4) UPSs in my house -- three for computers and one for my living room TV in case the power goes out. A few weeks ago the red replace battery light came on as well as a loud beeping, indicating time to replace the battery. Ordered this and it was delivered about a week later. As some have already commented, the negative terminal on the battery is not as wide as the negative connector on the UPS but it will fit nonetheless and once the battery is inserted into it's compartment, the terminal lead will not move. This battery works as advertised. RECYCLE NOTE: as with a previous UPS battery I replaced a couple years ago, this one also went to Lowe's for recycle. I recommend this seller and the battery.

I ordered off of the original UPS fact sheet but from a different vendor than Schneider. The first replacement lasted a long time, and here, I would expect the same.
