Philips Full HD Ultra-Slim LED TV 32PFS5603/12

I chose white TV as more aesthetic for my bedroom and not too large and showy! The TV is sited on wall where my old TV used to go and wired into Sky TV Mini Box - no problem - however..........1st Problem: It is fitted with a European plug, but thankfully an adapter was included in the box. As the TV sits above a chest of drawers the unsightly adapter+plug is well hidden - so not really an issue as can't see it! ISSUE OVERCOME2nd Problem: The electrical wire supplied was a bit shorter than my previous TV so a bit of jiggery pokery (by my other half) adding more cable so fitted already installed height. ISSUE OVERCOME3rd Problem: TV can only be fully switched off at the mains - but as this would mean having to turn of the Sky Mini Box as well - I don't bother and have learned to live with 2 x lights (from TV & Mini Box). DISAPPOINTING3rd Problem: For some reason I can't control TV volume from the one (Sky) control and have to use the original TV Control which is a bit of a pain! DISAPPOINTINGI suppose you get what you pay for - that said - I noticed having purchased it (bit too late) that same TV in Currys and at that time (as don't know if still do) they would price match. So presumably the irritating issues noted above would not have occurred (as presume this TV made by & for Spanish market?)Lastly, the TV arrived 7 days after ordering - which during Christmas (and 2020 Covid) I thought was very reasonable, so overall I'm a happy customer. Problems listed - to be fair were more like niggles that we have overcome! Happy New Year!!!!

This television was meant for the european market and cold not be used in UK. I received this information on contact with Phillips ( the makers)
