Frownies Gentle Lifts Patches for Lip Lines

No Pun intended. I am also a lover of the forehead patches, have been using them for over a decade. I was skeptical about these lip ones, but was desperate for something to soften the lines that started forming above my upper lip a few years back. This summer I was beginning to notice the lines in EVERY light, even from a few feet away from a mirror. When these lip patches arrived I was excited but cautiously optimistic, and then immediately disappointed when I opened them because they were more like "Band Aids" instead of the paper forehead patches. At first I had trouble with them, but now I CANNOT live without them. The trick is, you have to start one one side, literally spreading out the upper lip with 2 fingers of 1 hand while applying the Forwnie with the other. Then I just press down hard for a few seconds and repeat on the other side. The hardest part is not that I can't get them to stick...it is getting them off without fear of ripping off the fine upper lip hair which I fear would result in a mustache! So I just patiently sit with a warm washcloth over the patches for a few minutes and then I peel them off downwards very slowly...the result...VOILA!!! Lip Lines appear to be gone!!! I am only wearing them over night a few days a week & it seems to do the trick. I feel like I am erasing the lines, and trust me, I am my harshest critic. But just like the forehead patches, when I stop using them, wrinkles come back. So stick with it! They are worth EVERY penny!!!

I've been using the forehead Frownies for years and saw these gentle lifts which are being advertised as smoothing smile and marionette lines. The size and shape of these does not work for the vertical indents around the mouth or marionette lines. The edges don't fully stick, as they are small and stiff and the face is not a flat surface. They are extremely uncomfortable and caused itchiness. I had to remove them minutes after applying them to my face. Instead of smoothing any lines, they created indents and lines on my face from where it was pressing into my skin. Because they are so small, you'd need to use at least 4 at a time to even try to lift the lines around the mouth, meaning you'd need to reorder these every 2 weeks if using once daily. Absolutely overpriced and ineffective.

Great expansion of Frownies line to cover small areas that just don't work well with the original style. These are also more travel/time friendly to apply because they have a peel off adhesive backing that adheres very well to skin with no dampening/wit time needed. Adhesive has no scent unlike the funky smell of regular Frownies adhesive. These also has a little plastic brace in the center that has lifting effect, so you can bend the brace to fit curves of face. I've been using these for a little wrinkle above ridge of nose and the regular version would not fit/stay in place there but the the design of this type works perfectly in spot. I do notice in morning that the wrinkle looks smoother when I remove but isn't gone yet, trying to prevent it from getting worse so will keep using these.

They are very sticky. I used them above my lips for vertical lines. Kept them on all night. They were a little painful to remove and caused a few excoriations on my upper lip. However they did reduce the appearance of the vertical lines. I think I'll try them maybe every 2 to 3 nights.

These must be used consistently to be effective, but they will help "retrain" your muscles and smooth put those lines. Stick with them, they are worth it! They can hurt a little when you remove them, because they adhere so well. Just wet them or hold a wet washcloth to them for 10 seconds, and thry are easy to remove. Highly recommend!

I am surprised at the negative reviews. Perhaps people are using these differently than I am. I use two of them above my lips. I press them down. I do have Retin-A, copper-peptide, or niacinamide serum on, but nothing oily. Perhaps those who find they don't stick are putting them over a moisturizer that is more creamy/oily? I can use the same two for many nights (up until I consider them no longer clean enough to reuse). The only problem I have had is them sending me the wrong product, the ones that go on the forehead instead of these. Those are very different than these. Oh, and the size of these are designed to fit on either side of the upper lip. You don't want them big. They are the right size for that. I don't want bad reviews based on not using them for the right application to make us all lose a good product.

These do not stay stuck on like the other products made by Frownies. Now, I probably did not keep my lips totally still during the treatment. Still, they are not stickers like the others but more like bandaids or very thick plastic. They slid around on me like duct tape on a hot car (ha ha, for those of us who do bargain body repair) I love other Frownies, but these were just Okay.

Los he pedido varias veces. Los utilizo para la arruga del entrecejo. Frunzo el ceño cuando duermo y el parche me impide este movimiento involuntario. Al utilizarlo me despierto con el entrecejo liso y la línea que ya tenía marcada ha desaparecido casi por completo. Hay que ser constante. Los parches de cartón que se humedecen de la misma marca me daban alergia y se me llenaba la zona de granitos. Con estos no me ha pasado nunca. Son más caros pero por el resultado me merece la pena. Y si se ponen con la piel limpia se pueden utilizar dos veces.

Ce produit est parfait. Les patchs ressembles à de petits pansements ils sont emballés individuellement. Je l'ai acheté pour mes rides du visage. J'utilise ces patchs le soir au coucher pour les enlever le matin. Ils sont comme indiqués repositionnables. Si vous les avez mal mis aucun problème vous pouvez les enlever et les remettre. Ils s'accrochent à la peau et ne bougent pas. Pour moi, j'ai constaté que mes rides s'estompaient au fil des jours. Je sais bien qu'elles ne vont pas disparaitre ! Mais le fait qu'elles se réduisent me suffit. Par contre dommage que ces patchs ne soient pas proposés en plusieurs teintes surtout pour ceux qui ont la peau très mate.
