No it’s very oily, and thick. The hold is pretty strong. And it smells wonderful.

Has anyone tried this as a beard balm? If so, what are your impressions?

Yes I used it for my hair and it gives it a nice hold. I don't know about using it for a beard but I'm pretty sure it will give you a nice firm look.

Does this Beeswax have a fragrance to it?

Yes it does. And it smells LOVELY!!!!

What is the difference between the black and the gold?

I'm not sure? I never used the dark one just the honey gold.
