T-fal Airbake Natural Jelly Roll Pan, 15.5x10.5 inches,

I first purchased these pans about 20 yrs. ago with the brown no stick finish on them. They have been the best baking pans in 20 yrs. I have others but none cook as evenly as these. I was skeptical that the pans didn't have the same finish as the old ones I had but, I have used them several times now and they perform just as well as the old ones.

I have several AirBake Ultra Natural baking pans, which I absolutely love for making cookies because they are the only pans that do not burn cookies. I never had success with baking holiday cookies until I discovered AirBake pans. If you're like me, and tend to forget about your cookies in the oven for only the briefest moment (or you get interrupted while baking), the AirBake pans provides that extremely important, extra margin of error needed so your cookies do not come out burnt. The bottom of the pan has two sheets of Aluminum with air in the middle, and this extra layer prevents cookies from burning. My former pans (which I've given away) used to burn the cookies on the edges while under-cooking the middle. I like the Airbake pans because it cooks evenly and it doesn't burn cookies. So, if you're like me and forget about your cookies in the oven or you get interrupted, the extra minute or two or three minutes of baking will not burn your cookies at all. It's the easiest pan for someone that's multitasking while cooking. Unfortunately, on this particular order (jelly roll pan size, that I was going to use for baking a jelly roll cake), Amazon/Target shipped me the wrong pan. I ordered the Ultra Natural AirBake, but received the non-stick AirBake version, so I am returning it. I own all Ultra Natural AirBake pans (i.e. pure Aluminum), and am avoiding any non-stick versions because non-stick in general tends to cook browner than what I desire. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of purchasing the ingredients to the cake (buttermilk, heavy whipping cream) just before receiving this pan, and unfortunately both of these two ingredients have just expired today and I do not have a replacement pan, so Target/Amazon's shipping error has cost me a loss of $5.00 on ingredients that I had purchased, so when you buy this pan, you probably should wait until you receive the pan before you purchase your ingredients, especially if it's anything as expensive as heavy whipping cream and buttermilk. I gave the product five stars, because the AirBake Ultra Natural products (in different shapes & sizes) that I already own are excellent. My problem isn't Airbake, it's the shipper or the website description that doesn't match what was sent. Amazon either needs to update its website by adding "non-stick" in the description (which it currently does not do), or make sure the correct product is being sent. When you read this review, most likely Amazon will have already fixed this problem, so I wouldn't let that deter you from buying an excellent product.

If you do any baking airbake will be your best friend. I have a gas oven and I was going to get rid of it because my baked goods were always overdone on the bottom and raw on the top. My neighbor suggested airbake and it is wonderful! Buns don't burn and my roast potatoes are perfect. I did have to make a few adjustments on bake time for my cookies but now they are perfect.

I absolutely love this pan! Growing up my mama had two of them and when it came time for me to invest in pans for my house, I bought these! They’re perfect for roasting veggies and baking cookies, biscuits and everything in between! I never use the dishwasher on my pans so I can’t speak to that but as long as you take care of them they will last forever. My mamas are going on 30 years and still look and work great!

Years ago we purchased Airbake cookie sheets, and my wife asked for a deeper airbake pan for Christmas. This pan is high-quality as expected from Airbake and we are very pleased with the use we've gotten out of it. One note from past experience, if you don't need to spray your pans (Pam, cooking oil, etc) – then don't. Over time, the high oven heat will bake the oil on and you won't be able to maintain the silver finish. While it doesn't affect the cooking performance, it just doesn't look as nice when they are new.

I used this pan to bake my birthday cake in. Although this is really a jelly roll pan, it holds a 9 inch three layer cake beautifully, and bakes to perfection. It's a little quicker than a regular pan because of the air-bake, but that's okay because my stove is weird anyway and takes forever to bake anything, so I was very pleased about that. Clean up is a snap, by hand of course, because we wouldn't want to warp or damage our precious cake pan (any of them, and I have many). Pictured is my cake.

This is a great deal for a jellyroll pan, it's sturdy and its air bake so you can't go wrong!
