Very healthy plants.
Delivered quickly and in a safe manner. I recieved 5 healthy plants. After soaking the roots for 60 minutes I then trimmed the roots to approx 10cm. This encourages more roots to form quickly. I took a photo of them soaking. Then a photo the next day after planting in a raised bed. As can be seen they are already putting on a spurt of life. The white granules are vermiculite which is also dug into the soil to a depth of 6 inches. I can highly recommend this seller. If you are new to Strawberries do a bit of googling for success. Most issues result from planting too deep (root rot) or not deep enough (roots drying out). Hope this helps. Just a quick update. 8 days after planting and they are already putting out the fruiting stems.

Quality of produce
Items found to be of a good quality, planted within 4 hours after arrival and a good soaking. Results so far good, should get a good crop of strawberries.

Fantastic for first time growers
I ordered these in late April. Followed the advice given to soak the roots etc .At this point can I say that I am a complete novice with gardening in general and particularly strawberries I e. I have NEVER attempted to grow them before. My only experience was with some potatoes and carrots which I planted last year with some success but found that snails were a problem. Using what little common sense which I possess I thought that I would grow the strawbs in containers and keep then off the ground ( I made a little platform from a section of fencing to keep them off the ground I left the 3 containers on a paved area too in my attempts to thwart the slugs, snails etc I was careful to put them in a sunny area. Within 2 weeks I had signs of growth from ALL roots It is now 17th July and to date I have been picking on average 6-8 big fat ,juicy sweet strawberries every other day. My running total to date is 43 perfectly shaped, very large ( almost golf ball size) very tasty fruits. Other than water them when we had a run of dry hot days the only other thing I have done was a little shot of diluted tomato feed I estimate there are around 20 green berries and at least 10 which I intend to pick over the next 2 days Maybe it is simply beginners luck but taking my amateurish efforts into account then I strongly feel that the plants must be very well bred. I live outside Glasgow so it's not as if I can say its down to the climate. I would reccomend this seller 100%. P.s. I didn't even know the right ratio of soil/ sand to compost so I guess I was just lucky. I will attempt to get them through the winter but if as I suspect I get it wrong then I am definitely going to buy more plants around February/ March next year. Good luck & good health to you all Updated 22/5/21 Much to my surprise all my plants survived the winter and have actually now transformed into 9 plants from the 5 initially planted. All looking very healthy and strong so no reason to doubt a bumper crop this year. No special treatment done to get them over the winter other than cutting back a little and a wee splash of tepid water when it was frosty to offset the cold. Very happy customer.

Strawberries
Nice and tasty strawberries, but unfortunately only 6 out of 10 plants survived their journey in a plastic bag.

Great value
Came quickly, I soaked the roots in water for an hour or so and then trimmed them a little so they'd go in my pots alright. Have begun growing really quickly and seems very healthy. Really happy with the purchase, you can see the difference in just 4 days
