I ordered this to replace the mounting rail that came with my rifle.The one that ships with the ruger 10/22 only has shallow notches which wouldn’t allow my sight to seat properly.I fitted this picatinny rail which is an easy process, the pre drilled holes line up with the threaded holes on the rifle and the screws provided fitted perfectly, holding everything securely in place.The quality of the part feels and looks good.I’ve attached a red dot sight to this picatinny rail and used it at the weekend in a practical mini rifle competition and it performed perfectly.

I purchased this rail while building out my wife's Ruger 10/22, and it was exactly what I needed.At the end of the day, a Picatinny rail isn't a particularly complicated product. There are plenty of options available, including some that are probably just as functional and potentially a little cheaper.The reason I chose this one comes down to trust.Over the years I've used quite a few Leapers/UTG products, and they've consistently delivered good quality at reasonable prices.
