Zoo MedHabba Hut, Small

Great. Please take my advice and bake these at 300 degrees for 20 minutes before introducing it your enclosure. This will kill any mites and pests. Trust me I’ve been down this road with products like these.

The dimensions are not correct and as you can see from the picture above there’s no way any turtle or reptile could fit under this “xtra large hut.”

Woah! This is definitely giant! Much bigger then I expected. I purchased this for my Adult bearded dragon who is housed in a 90gal aquarium at the moment. I know this will fit no problem, but it may be too big even for this size tank and wish I bought a size smaller. My intention was to use this more for a basking climb then for a hide. This hut should be easy to take care off with spray on disinfectant in between washings. Good price for the size and it's solid and heavy. Would be perfect for larger snakes.

Come on Zoo Med! You need to be accurate with measurements. Your GIANT HUT’S measurements are way off. Common sense should have told your staff to measure from the hut’s floor up to the hardwood ceiling- NOT UP TO THE OUTER BARK. The width is also off when you ignore the hardwood and measure to the outer bark. Measurements makes a huge difference in the clearance the tortoise will have to enter. This is not rocket science. Now I will have to modify the hut to make it usable. At this price, Zoo Med needs to deliver what it’s selling. At the very least, mention your GIANT HUT is suitable for baby tortoises only.

We ordered the extra large for our bearded dragon, but it seemed very small. We went to PetSmart and purchased a different brand extra large instead. The one that came from Amazon it's already peeling off of the wood and it's just too small. The one from Amazon is on the left and the extra large from PetSmart is on the right.

Way shorter and not as wide as description. Suppsed to be 11x9.5x5.5. Size that came is 11x8x4. So disappointing. Bought for a growing russian tortoise. It's not tall enough!

TAPE MEASURE PHOTOS...the one on the right came today...Awful!today was my LAST ATTEMPT at ordering the Habba Hut. I AM LIVID. Its supposed to be G I A N T. see all these boxes? all but ONE was truly GIANT...so..they're ALL GOING BACK...you are better off hand picking them if possible. It is a real crap shoot and aggravating

Heed the recent reviews about the problem with sizing. Before my most recent order of this item, I had no problems ordering XL and Giant sized hides. The hide I ordered fell short of meeting the specified dimensions for the XL hide, and when Amazon tried to correct the problem, they sent me an even SMALLER hide. I've taken photos of both of the products I received so you can see the dimensions. This is very annoying and disappointing, but not as infuriating as some of those partial logs people received prior to the date of this review. I don't know why this seems to be a problem now, but the complete lack of quality control/accurate product description is frustrating.

Was happy with the items but they are very small, used it for a Horsfield tortoise which was little more than a hatchling. If you want it to last a bit longer medium size might be best if it's for a baby tortoise.

So small not good

this is a good quality product but is smaller then the picture looks, even though this is a medium it is actually a lot lower down then shows, i brought this for a hideout for my african pygmy hedgehog but is to low so is now just something to climb on. so although this is a good product i wouldnt recommend if after a hideout.

it makes a nice hideing place for hatchlings. they will benifit from the hideing place its safe & warm for them.

Nice wee tunnel. Staples were hard to get out from the packaging.
