Have really enjoyed reading this. Be aware it is not so much a story of how D-day went but rather chapters on all the technical features and equipment employed preceding and during the invasion itself - what I was looking for.Note this is the 75th anniversary edition which I understand contains additional information over and above earlier editions of this book.

Bought for this Christmas for my boyfriend so don't have his opinion. I know he will love it though and have his head buried in it all day! A thick book of over 200 pages with each page containing photos of varying sizes. If you know anyone with interested in this topic I am sure they did would enjoy this book.
