Perfect fit for my 4L60. Old one was rounded off bad and seized. I had to weld a giant nut on it and get it off with an impact.

fit was fine
I like that this plug went in just enough to know that it will have a good seal on my 2001 Chev., Silverado 1500 LS 4.3. It has a deep pan due to the fact that the filter is what determined the pan being shallow or deep...make sure you always compare your filter when changing out. I really did not care for the plug not having a great head to grab........so I suggest that you finger tighten and turn about a quarter turn and leave it at that....this avoids being stripped and will make your life much easier when you decide to do another change in the future. I suggest that all car or truck buyers take the time to at least loosen your transmission bolt slightly and clean or lubricate it at least once a year.......... to avoid a seized bolt in the future. Overall, this plug will work and is at a good price.........

Horrible design set up for premature failure
Yes, original ac delco. Horrible design however. The engineer of this bolt should be charged criminally for creating a bolt head just over 1/8 of an inch deep! Good for few oil changes, forcing you then have to replace the easily stripped bolt head. No idea why this isn't at least 1/2 an inch deep so that a socket or wrench can properly grip it?!
